How To Kickstart Or Elevate Your Healing Business

For this episode of the Aligned & Unstoppable Podcast we are shaking things up! Millie, a budding entrepreneur, sought strategies for growth and expansion in her own business. Adina, already experienced in multiple healing modalities with a brick-and-mortar location, aimed to blend her healing work and learn business strategies to scale her practice into the online space.

Explore the stories of these practitioners and discover how IEA can help you kickstart your healing business or elevate your current practice.

Welcome back to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast, episode number 447.

00:06 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’m your host, Emily Ahrens, and I wanted to re-release this week’s podcast episode for a few reasons. Number one, obviously, if you’re a loyal listener, you know I’ve been taking a bit of a hiatus from recording new episodes to really focus on the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast, which is my new paid podcast. But the reason why I wanted to share this one with you today is because right now more than ever, the world is desperately in need of qualified healing practitioners and I believe as a practitioner, you also deserve to be making great money. And the Integrated Energy Alignment Practitioner Training if you are familiar with it, it’s the first and only energy-based training with a profit guarantee. So if you decide that you are ready to kind of take that next step towards having a very profitable career as a spiritual business owner, iea is the place to go. We are literally setting the gold standard. Our practitioners are making thousands of extra dollars every single month, and that’s even before they graduate and get their certification, because we are requiring students to start charging at a certain place within the program. Now, if you are a practitioner, you’ve had certifications before. You can start charging whenever you’re ready, so you could actually bring in an extra stream of revenue right away.

01:33
So the reason why I wanted to bring this week’s episode back into rotation is because it is very timely. We are about to take a small group of students and fast track them to get started this June. Not only will they get to get started in June, but we have incredible incentives. So, number one, we have some amazing cash incentives to get started with the June cohort and we have three unreleased bonuses. This is just for folks who are joining in this cohort Now. I can’t speak very much to them each individually, but they are three incredible courses that are going to turn you into an expert, to help you with your business growth, to help you launch your business, to help you with learning how to intuitively run your business and as well as plan. So these are some different things that folks have really, really needed help, support with around the years, and you can jumpstart that career as a healer, as a practitioner, and have this success right there when you are ready.

02:42
So in this week’s episode you’re going to hear me talking about a free training that I used to do called Breaking Up With Broke. Now that program is no longer available. However, it has been adapted and improved upon, which is now called Activate your Abundance Mindset. It’s a free training. You can sign up for it at emilyaronscom forward slash mindset. We’ll have the link in the show notes as well as in the email that goes with this week’s episode. But if you are ready, you say like listen, emily, I’m ready to start fast tracking. I need your training, I want to learn how to run a business, I want to be surrounded by like-minded people and I really need the support. You are definitely in the right place.

03:25
So take a listen to this week’s episode. There is also the YouTube version if you’d like to watch the video and get to see the students speaking Really. This whole episode is talking about the students from their point of view and their success stories, which there are many, and even since this podcast recording, I think we’ve had at least two, possibly even three more no, I think two cohorts that started even after this group, and they’ve been even more successful than the previous ones. So if you are interested in running a profitable spiritual business, definitely check out emilyerinscom forward slash mindset for the free training. If you are ready to go right to booking that call, learning about the information session, you can go to emilyerinscom forward slash info session. That will put you right on the list. You can get the information session and then you book your call to get the cash savings off as well as those other three brand new bonuses that have not been released yet.

04:25
So let’s get into this week’s episode and share about the success of our IEA students.

04:55 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Welcome back to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast. This one is so special. I have got a lot I mean a lot of guests with me. Today I’m bringing my actual, real students from the IEA training with me, and so we’re going to be talking about what a lot of practitioners have the problem with, which is how do we break up with the broke mindset, the broke mentality, the broke paradigm and usher in a new era for impact-driven healers, coaches and leaders. And that’s really what I’m here to do. That’s part of my mission and that’s certainly what the Integrated Energy Alignment practitioners are doing as well to spread this light. So in this episode, you’re going to hear me interview about seven of my past and a couple of current students from the IEA training. So we’re going to talk about like why did I create this training, who is it for, who is it not? For Some of the success stories, some of the big hurdles that they overcame and one of the biggest things that I wanted to share with you for anybody who’s interested in either becoming an energy practitioner or adding to your current coaching or healing roster, just to have another tool in your tool belt, this is a whole nother level of integrity the course, the curriculum, the practice sessions, it actually it pushed me outside of my comfort zone and that’s the gift that keeps on giving for the students. So every single one of the students, at some point or another, was pushed outside of their comfort zone. And if you are ready for hitting new milestones, becoming the person that you didn’t even know you were capable of, seeing how intrinsically strong and intuitive and courageous you are, you can absolutely get there through the IEA training.

06:49
The IEA training is not for the faint of heart. It’s not for everybody. We talked about the difference between the seriousness and the high level of integrity of the IEA training compared to some of those courses that people are selling for a few bucks through ads, and that level of integrity as well. So we’re going to get to all that and so much more in this week’s podcast, but before we do, this is also an audio podcast as well as a video podcast, so if you go over to emilyerinscom forward slash video, you can actually watch the entire episode over on my YouTube channel. Make sure you hit that subscribe button, because I do release my podcast episodes as well as other content here. That’s going to help you open up your intuition, connect with your guides, connect with your energy and so much more. If you are a new listener and you’re really excited, I’m so happy that you’re here. And what I also want to say it was kind of funny is that some of the practitioners share their stories that they started here too, just like you, listening to the podcast, searching for a way to get more connected with yourself, your intuition, maybe a way to grow your business, and so if you’ve been a podcast listener for a while, this episode might just be exactly the answer to your prayers if you’re wanting to go to that next level, whether it’s within yourself or with me.

08:08
Anyways, let’s get into this week’s episode, and I also have a special announcement at the end of the training. I’ll kind of want to get you to listen to it, but I also will tell you too. I have a brand new exclusive workshop coming out with the title Breaking Up With Broke Ushering a New Era of Impact-Driven Coaches, healers and Leaders. It is only available to people who are on the IEA waitlist. So if you are serious about up-leveling your life, growing a business and creating profits, head on over to emilyarenscom forward slash IEA. The link will be also in the show notes. Get on that wait list and it’ll get you that spot inside of my very exclusive workshop coming up over on June 15th. So that’s Thursday, june 15th, breaking Up With Broke Again, listen to it. I’ll give you the details at the end of the episode. Here is this week’s episode with my IEA coaches, my trainees and my graduates.

09:06 – Emily Aarons (Host)
You’re listening to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast. I’m your host, emily Aarons. I’m an entrepreneur and highly sought after energy healer with over two decades in practice. I’m a mixture of high vibe energy and cutting edge strategy with a little dash of unfiltered real talk, making this the one and only podcast that gives you a down to earth approach to business and spirituality. Tune in each week to get out of the stress of overworking so you can build a brand in alignment with your soul’s purpose. If there’s one thing I’ve learned the hard way, it’s that you have to stop looking outside yourself for the answer and start looking within. We all have a unique path and it’s time you start trusting in yourself. The truth is, you already have everything you need. You just need to learn how to access it. Now let’s dive in.

10:00 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It’s time you experience, business and soul alignment. Hey podcast listeners, welcome back. I am so excited. This is an episode that has been a long time coming and I do really mean that with everything in me. I have brought together a stellar group of students from my IEA training that’s integrated energy alignment training. I’ve invited them to be here both past students who have graduated as well as some current students who are about to graduate and I wanted them to be here because I felt like this is a great conversation to have with all of them present, versus me just telling you what it is. So today’s episode, we’re going to talk about really what it is to break up with being broke and to tap into your own energy, your own skillset, building a business and really how these folks who are here in this room with me, how they got to join the IEA training. They’re going to be sharing from their own words not from mine of their experience and their background. So please, welcome them all. I’ve got Carla Miller, jamie Lacazi, shannon Miller, allison Delatore, emily Pearl, susie Almeida and Millie Barra, so welcome them all. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All of you are waving. For those of you who are listening to the podcast, please also check out my YouTube channel, so emilyerinscom forward slash YouTube, you will get a full view of everybody here that I’m looking at, so you can kind of get the feel of like the energy in the space as well.

11:36
So before I get into kind of interviewing my friends here, I want to talk about sort of where IEA came from. So I’ve been doing energy work for the last 23 years. I was trained in polarity therapy and other advanced energy trainings and Akashic records and distance healing, and it was in January of 2022 where I had actually just had COVID. I was super sick and I pretty much felt like I hit my rock bottom and I bottomed out totally. And when I woke up the next morning I started listening to a couple of my own meditations that cleared my energy, got me back feeling amazing, and it was like I snapped my finger and suddenly this whole program was like ready to come in and be delivered. So that morning I was like, hey, andrew, my husband, I’m like, please take the children for a few hours, I have some channeling to do. And I basically just wrote out the entirety of the framework for the IEA training, which I will say is pretty genius, except for the fact that I had no idea how to actually put that all together. That came through connecting with Amanda Pickering, who is now my COO. I hired her at the time just to be the project manager, but fortunately for me, she’s still here. I’m so, so grateful.

12:55
So the background was basically I had brought this program together because I knew practitioners that needed the business skills, who had been doing other certifications Maybe they did breathwork or hypnotherapy or Reiki or other sorts of certifications but didn’t have the business skills and also the people who maybe just wanted a career change. They wanted to get deeper into their spiritual practice or deeper into healing work, and this was completely a new avenue for them. So, by a show of hands, raise your hand. If the IEA training was the first ever brand new to healing modality of this sort, raise your hands friends. So Jamie, carla, wiggling kind of how about? Susie, were you, is this new for you? Yeah, so for you as well, yeah. And then for Shannon and Allison, emily and Millie you guys all had a lot of training. You’ve been through multiple sort of. So the ladies who’ve had all the trainings would you mind sharing some of the trainings that you’d already been through that you maybe still utilize?

14:01 – Millie Barra (Guest)
Yeah, I’ll go. So I’m a certified emotion code and body code practitioner, along with EFT tapping, so emotional freedom technique tapping and I had worked in my own practice for about two years. I entered it in 2020. And really, though, I feel like those modalities that I use while they are in the energy medicine field right and working with your energy field, they were very like I had charts to lean on and like very tangible for me versus what Emily offers, which is really trusting my own gifts and my own abilities, my intuition, and it’s just been really beautiful to see how I’ve been able to kind of bridge both of them but really settle into my calling as an energy worker.

14:50 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Yeah, I love that and I mean that’s why the word integrated is in the name is it is designed to be able to blend into other modalities as well. Thanks, Millie. What about Emily? Have you found like you can blend the work with, like you do, Akashic records and so many other things? But how do you feel it’s been for you in your practice?

15:10 – Emily Pearl (Guest)
coaching and I’ve learned energy work through many different modalities through Reiki, through the Akashic record work. I’ve worked with Barbara Brennan like the hands of light style healing, so with integrating it into the IEA certification it has, it’s integrated really well. The biggest reason I really wanted to go into IEA is for the online business training to learn how to put an online business together. But also I really wanted to learn how to talk about the energy work more like with my clients and be able to verbalize like what I was feeling and what was happening, and I definitely feel like I’ve been able to integrate that really well into this work.

16:05 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I love that and that’s like part of the biggest challenge with practitioners who aren’t making the money they desire is simply like articulating your offer, articulating the transformation. And from day one, you know I remember you guys all going through the program like how do I tell people I have these practice sessions? What exactly is this? It’s like that’s where we start, versus a lot of times after certifications are through, you’re like now, how do I get people? So that’s also what makes IEA so different and so special is that you’re starting practice sessions from really day one and being able to articulate what you do, how you do it, who it’s for, who it’s not for, and the transformation that’s possible is a lot of the work that goes into, you know, being able to sell yourself, being able to talk in session and outside of session, really be able to market yourself.

16:58
So other thing is that the IEA training, which is different from I mean, I don’t know if you guys get served a lot of ads for other courses or certifications. I’ve been seeing a lot of them like get breath work for only $17, be certified crystal bowl healer and like these different certifications, and then it’s like at a bargain, basement low, low rate. I’m curious what you guys feel about that. Do you feel like that those low prices keep the integrity of the training, or do you feel like they’re just like trying to appeal to masses and just like pushing things out there? What do you, what do you guys feel about that?

17:34 – Carla Miller (Guest)
I actually did one.

17:35 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Oh, yeah, tell me about that, carla.

17:38 – Carla Miller (Guest)
Well, after doing IEA, I was very disappointed and I have actually invested invested in another coach to learn. I feel it’s more about just getting the people and getting the sell. Like it was a a rakey course and we just watched the modules and she did the see. I can’t remember what exactly and then afterwards.

18:06
So we got like an initiation, but then afterwards there was no like feedback from her. There was no way to ask questions, you to email them and you you didn’t have this connection with other people. You know to converse about what were coming up for you or what you’d experienced, and you know getting other people’s views and things. So, yeah, I think you set the bar so high I’m really gonna struggle to go on another course with other people.

18:32 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So, yeah, I am not a fan though not that every low course I’m sure is not the same but my experience wasn’t very good yeah, which is unfortunate, and I think thank you for saying that and I think that’s also been what’s been so challenging for me as the course creator is setting such a high bar, setting such a high standard for integrity to hold the healing art, but also to be able to hold the integrity to hold my mission, which is to help impact the lives of millions of practitioners, to help create wealth for them. Impact the lives of millions of practitioners to help create wealth for them. And if I’m setting such a low bar and letting anybody in the door, I’m not really caring about their practice sessions or if they are practicing or anything to even give them the time to answer their questions. That’s just that’s setting such a low standard. So for me, setting this high standard, it does require a lot more of me, it requires a lot more of my team, but that’s what we want and part of that is to uphold this level of seriousness.

19:30
And you know, I know you guys have gone through your ups and downs to complete the course. Does anybody raise your hand? At any point in the IEA training did you feel like, oh shoot, like I don’t know if I can make it, I don’t think I can finish this. This is like pretty rigorous.

19:45 – Emily Pearl (Guest)
So the majority.

19:46 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Okay, all right, everybody but Allison. Thank you, allison. Can you tell me about that, because?

19:53 – Allison Delatore (Guest)
everybody else raised their hand. Well, I think I’ve done so many certification classes. I’ve never done any of the low cost ones and at least I think it partially has to do with me as well that when I set my mind to do something, I’m going to do it. I’m not going to do it half-assed and I’m going to complete it Like that’s who I am. So, and having done so many other certification courses that required practice sessions and paid practice sessions and and all of that, it was kind of like, oh, this is totally manageable. I love that.

20:24 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Well, thank you and like, really thank you, because when you first signed up, I was like, okay, so there are going to be practitioners who are really dedicated, who are really here to take it seriously. So you joining was evidence that there was more people out there for me. That’s what you also gave me that little gift too, because I really believe that part of the reason that we have this like broke healer, broke coach thing that’s going on, this narrative that’s going on, is partly to do with these cheap courses that have no integrity behind them and people don’t actually care if you go through them, if you complete them, if you practice. If you don’t, it doesn’t really matter. And so it’s like just bring some more people in here, and so you also are in the minority in that most people who do online courses do not complete them. So you have the mindset of like, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it. I feel the same way, I’m the same If I sign up, like I’m going to try to do 17 modules in a day and like I want to go through it as fast as possible.

21:27
That’s a character flaw of my own, but really part of what is so special is that we do take the time to have an integration week. So basically the formula of IEA we have three weeks on, one week off and every single month the students are required to do a certain number of practice sessions, single sessions, and then at a certain point in the program they start to build up their confidence a little bit and they start to get a little bit more excited about what they’re doing and knowing what they’re doing. So then we start to charge for our sessions and I remember so. Before I get into that, actually I’m feeling like I want to back up. So the folks of, I would say, jamie and Susie, folks who had never done any sort of training before, when you had to start doing practice sessions, they were required. What kind of came up for?

22:15 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
you, the practice sessions were interesting, I would say. To kind of like backtrack a little bit is, I found the hardest part of the course the first couple of weeks where and even our first like session where we did energy work on each other not even clients yet Like I was so nervous. But then eventually I like warmed up and got into it and that’s what you, that’s what I was here for was to like learn how to tap into my intuition. And so when doing the practice sessions I was scared but I kind of just gave up that like gave up that control and kind of tapped into my body, like you taught us to, and just rolled with it. And so after the first time, after the first round, I did 10 sessions. I was like, okay, I got through it. And then I saw the next month that people were returning for more sessions and so that was definitely a confidence booster that like, okay, I can get through the rest of this course, let’s keep going.

23:08 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So it was really fun and I remember when you started to, you’re like I don’t even know what I’m doing here and this is probably not for me. I don’t know if it’s is it for me. I don’t know what I’m even here for. I remember you were like that.

23:21 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
Yeah, because I work in forensic science. And how I found you actually, emily and you know this story is that I was in like a dark space. You know, my grandfather passed away. I found out I didn’t want to be a doctor anymore. I was having trouble in some relationships that I was had and I found your podcast randomly.

23:42
I loved your picture and so the little icon you have on your podcast and I was like let’s. I loved your picture and so the little icon you have on your podcast and I was like let’s, try this one out. And from the minute I listened to you I was like this is it right? I was like I want to work with her. And this has been the whole training course IEA was offered and I was like this is it? And yeah, when I enrolled in your course, I had no intention of being a practitioner. I solely signed up to learn how to control my own energy and really listen to my mind, my body, my soul, what it needs, because my entire life I’ve only ever been told what I need. And so my mindset going into your training was just to learn about myself and I loved the. I ended up finding out that I loved this field of work and I enrolled in the coach training. For that reason, I love it.

24:30 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’m curious, anybody else, anybody else want to share their story of like? I haven’t heard from you, shannon, yet either sort of what. What drew you to IEA initially?

24:39 – Shannon Major (Guest)
Kind of along the same lines as Jamie. I actually came across your podcast and so I was like, okay, well, let’s listen to this. And so in listening to you, that kind of got me interested in a lot of the work that you did. And I signed up for M&A and then was like, okay, well, she’s got an IEA, so let’s do that. And starting into the program, I was like, well, I don’t know if I can, you know, afford to do this. And I was like you know what I’m going to do this for me, I’m just going to sign up. And it was like the minute that I signed up, it was like, oh, and, by the way, here’s the flow that you, the cashflow you were asking for, to pay for it. So I was like score.

25:19 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Oh my gosh, what happened?

25:25 – Shannon Major (Guest)
I love hearing these stories. I never get old. What happened to? What shifted? I guess for me it was my whole mindset of, okay, well, you know, I’m not interested in the field that you know I’m currently in. So you know, I want to kind of dive in and go ahead head straight into energy work. And so I was like, okay, I’m going to sign up for this certification. And I was like, okay, you know, in the back of my mind I’m like, well, I don’t know how I’m going to pay for this. You know, I just let’s just sign up for the. I think it was like monthly payment plans and I was like, okay, all right.

25:56
And so as soon as I had made the decision for myself to do it and sign up, then all of a sudden, you know, the government was like, oh, you overpaid on your taxes, here you go. And I was like score. So. So, yeah, so pretty much that refund, pretty much paid for the certification in full. So, oh my God.

26:19 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I remember, I do remember when you signed up, when you started to payments and then you said is it okay if I also pay in full which is like any course creator, by the way, it’s like your favorite thing that anybody ever emails you. You’re like would it be okay? Of course it would be okay, get over here, anybody else. Have an interesting story like that, when you first signed up, having sort of something shift or miraculous happened for you, not knowing how to pay, and then suddenly something happened.

26:47 – Millie Barra (Guest)
I worked with Emily within a few different capacities one-on-one, and then also now in IEA and every single time is like amazing, where I have, like these new clients that come out of the woodwork that I have no idea how they found me, like I have. I had four new clients that were referred to me by a woman I’ve never met, have no idea how she found me, and she just started sending me clients after I signed up for your stuff and I was like, okay, I’ll take it.

27:17 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Oh yes, didn’t that happen to you, jamie? Something like that happened to you you.

27:22 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
Recently someone found me through your Facebook platform. Okay, she scrolled through because I don’t think I’m not a trainer or practitioner anymore so I don’t have training sessions. But she said she was going through some stuff and she wanted to see you. She knew you were offering sessions for our sessions and she was like scrolling way down and she found me and she signed up and booked a session and then from there she got two other people to book sessions with me. So it’s ever since working with you, emily, and doing this IEA and like tapping into myself, like things have just been coming to me, like I think it and I receive it, love it.

28:00 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So good and I was going to mention that too is that part of what was so genius that I literally I cannot take credit for. This is what’s channeled through was part of the practitioners practice sessions. We share their booking links within my Mastering Ascension paid community of people who like energy work. That’s why they’re there. They trust me and they’re interested in getting more healing, and so basically it’s free advertising to people who are already primed and ready, who would like to have some work by them. So every single month we promote their links, which is really a huge benefit to the members, but also a great way for the practitioners to get practice sessions with people who they don’t necessarily know and wouldn’t otherwise be able to like. Bring people in, because it’s not always the easiest things.

28:48 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Hey, listeners, I had to jump into this podcast episode to tell you about something I’ve been totally obsessed with, which is everyday dose. It is a beautiful alternative to coffee and, if you’re like me, I would start my day with coffee and little by little, I’d be adding more and more cups, which would then result in a midday crash, headaches from withdrawal if I wasn’t having coffee and an increased feeling of anxiety.

29:17
So if these are things that you two are up against, I would definitely recommend checking out Everyday Dose. So I’ve just become an affiliate because I love it that much.

29:27 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’m literally obsessed with it because not only does it have real coffee in it, it has lion’s mane, chaga mushrooms, l-theanine and collagen.

So the reason why I have switched- from my regular coffee to using Everyday everyday dose is because it’s helped me to feel like my brain is alert.

I’m functioning, but without the crash and the jitters that coffee kind of comes with.

It’s delicious. It tastes like coffee, so if you’re kind of a coffee snob, the way that I am, you don’t have to lose that love for coffee.

I was going to ask you Susie too, around how it felt to start to start doing practice sessions after, like you know, starting the program Me.

31:02 – Suzy Almeida (Guest)
I it was. It was scary. First of all, you know when, when you’re, when you don’t do like a certification and you’re not sure of your own intuition, and then you’re faced with. Well, now you’ve got to tune into your trust, your intuition first of all, and do a session. It was nerve wracking and trusting my intuition has been the biggest thing with. But with the certification I, it’s growing, it’s getting 10 times better.

31:29
You know your program. It just the guide, the way it guides you into trusting and believing in yourself, and the practice sessions. It just allows you to expand. Uh, now, yeah, I made cards. I’m trying to get out there. But the last two weeks has been a bummer for me because I allowed someone to literally put me down and it just stayed with me. But knowing what you’ve taught us in the course, I know that it will happen and it is. It’s like Jamie says, like everyone says it’s changing your mindset and your perception and believing in yourself and the way I feel. With the certification from you, emily, you know that you have guidance, you know that you have help.

32:14
You know that you can turn to your team for help or answers or practice which allowed me to grow as a person, because I was in a dark place before I even and I it was like Shannon, I was on your MNA and your the. I remember listening to your first meditation and I cried, but it, this is where, like, how I realized how much I grew, and that was just listening to your podcast. And then, once you came out with the IEA certification, I had to do it. Yeah.

32:43 – Emily Aarons (Host)
How? How did you decide, like what was it for you that you wanted to made?

32:47 – Suzy Almeida (Guest)
you want to join IEA, knowing what like knowing that I already had like intuition and I wanted to know how could I really tap into who am I and what am I here for? Looking at, like you know, those cheaper courses, yeah, like your certification to me stood out because there was so much to it that I was like I just have to do it this. It was just the right time for me to grow.

33:12 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’m glad that you decided so okay, how about? For the real fun was when I forced you guys to charge for your sessions. No longer, everybody and anyone is like it’s free and everyone’s like it’s like a party. We’re raving out in the backyard, we’re barbecuing, there’s music on, there’s confetti somewhere, and then all of a sudden you’re like okay, so also, we’re going to start charging. And you look behind, you’re like where did everybody go? What happened? Anybody want to share a little fun, little fun story of their own about that?

33:47 – Shannon Major (Guest)
Because I know that it definitely happened to every single one of you. I would have to say that when we went from free sessions to charging, I had a whole WTF moment because, you know, here you had all these people lining up for free sessions and then, once you started charging, it was like crickets. So I kind of had to get inventive and kind of come up with a strategy of okay, well, you know, let’s figure out what works and what doesn’t work.

34:16 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So what worked for you? What? Tell me what didn’t work? Anybody want to shoot a bad tip, no. What were you doing at first that wasn’t working, and what did you learn to start doing?

34:26 – Shannon Major (Guest)
I would probably have to say, when I first started putting myself out there, it was kind of like the okay, this is what I’m doing, do you want to sign up? And you know it was kind of like. And then, once I kind of got a feel for you know the type of sessions that I was constantly having and the things that were coming up like you know clarity or purpose then you kind of were I was able to kind of put I don’t want to say marketing, but kind of put myself out there.

34:56 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It is marketing and being able to really articulate the transformation that you are delivering for people for sure. Yeah, cause, and also I want to kind of give you a little high five for something else that you did, because and one of the coaching calls you came in with this problem and I said do you mind if I take a look at your Facebook page? And when I looked at it, I saw sort of a static image and other beautiful quotes and other meat like little pretty memes and flowers, and I said, all right, so here’s the first problem. You’re a personal brand. Now, this is not to call out Shannon by herself. This is all a lot of people and I’m sure there’s a lot of people listening right now who are like feeling that they’re being called out. I do this with love, I really do.

35:43
When you are a personal brand and you show a lotus flower or a quote, how are people supposed to connect with you? They can’t, and so this is how we hide in plain sight. And, shannon, I said something to that degree of you know I see you, but I don’t see you. This is a. This is technically a page to promote your work. However, I don’t see you anywhere on any of these pictures. How am I going to work with you? Within the day you got your hair done, you took the most gorgeous selfie with your eyes looking right at the camera, just so, and it was like boom, there she is, and it’s like being so open and so coachable that started to open up people also coming in to say yes for you, I feel.

36:30 – Shannon Major (Guest)
I’d have to totally agree. Yeah, cause changing the picture and everything.

36:34 – Emily Aarons (Host)
it was like, oh hey did you have any resistance when you finally like were very visible, like it was actually you on there?

36:42 – Shannon Major (Guest)
At first I did because I, with the belief system that I at the time was working through, I had a really hard time with being seen. So I had quite a bit of resistance. At first I was like, well, you know, I don’t know if I want to put my picture out there. And then finally, you know, I kind of sat with it and I’m like you know what, I’m just going to do it. So I did all this stuff and I was like a lot of people.

37:10 – Emily Aarons (Host)
You know we we’re afraid of the judgment of others, we’re afraid of really being out there, and these things can keep us small, keep us sort of in our little area for far too long and even sometimes, like one of the things, not to skip ahead. But one of the things we were talking about at the recent retreat that we all did was around, you know, just speaking directly to the customer who is there who wants to work with you. You know, are we giving them a lot of colors and images and lots of words and that’s confusing them and overwhelming them, or are we able to clearly connect with them and give them exactly what they want? Maybe it’s a short, quick win, maybe it’s a paid session, maybe it’s another something, but there’s so much work that we can always do on that. And I want to share Carla’s story, because I remember, carla, when we increased prices, that was definitely a block for you and you overcame it like like nothing else, so I would love for you to share that story.

38:05 – Carla Miller (Guest)
So I overcame blocks at every single module. I was sat there in the sessions being like, oh my God, I can’t do this next bit. How am I going to go from 10 to 20 minutes to 20 to 30? And all the women and Emily were just so amazing that when we got to charging, I think we all went in really low, didn’t we with the prices. And no, it was crickets again and no one was signing up and I just was like I need to start showing up as the person that I want to be, as the energy practitioner I want to be. So what price do I want to charge? And we I think we did a what feels kind of thing, didn’t we, of how far we could push ourselves, and so I took the 60 pounds off and I went in at 250. And that’s when I got my first client sign up and we were all like, oh my god. And then she ended up signing up for a course of sessions, referred somebody else and they signed up and it just snowballed from there.

39:13 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So yeah, like that kind of blew us all away. So basically you were charging 60 pounds and you’re like, screw that, yeah, 50, it’s 250. It’s actually 250. And that’s the thing is like I give you guys full flexibility to set your own prices. I offer a suggested sliding scale when you’re first starting your prices and I encourage you slash, require you to increase your prices later on in the program, and also that’s it’s completely up to you, you can set them. I don’t say it’s a sliding scale, you just do the increase. So it’s completely up to you, you can set them. I don’t say it’s a sliding scale, you just do the increase. So it’s really interesting that you say that like I didn’t get any bites at 60 until I raised it to 250. Then people started to bite. So I’m curious, why do you feel that happened?

39:58 – Carla Miller (Guest)
because the energy that I gave off that’s a an amount like we better be showing up with our a-game. We better be showing up like we mean this and not that. I was ever trying not to, but I was hiding away. And then I was like showing up as psychic energy worker, carla, and it took me so long to say that. And once I went in there I was like that’s who I, who I am, that’s what I am now and yeah, just, it was a whole energy shift.

40:29 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It’s the massive shift, yeah, and it was like this you’re like I sold one and then I sold a five pack and then I got another one. It’s like, oh, okay, okay, awesome, so so good, I love that. Thank you for sharing that. Anybody else have a fun little story they want to share about when you went from free to paid or paid to increasing your prices?

40:50 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
Well, like everybody else, I had difficulty you know crickets when it started charging, but I think it was more of a self lesson, of self-worth for me. You know showing up and saying, like I can do this, like I am an energy worker, I’m going through the training for it, so it was really just valuing me and I just started showing up and telling people more about it. And meeting someone in the grocery store yeah, I do energy work and you know really standing my ground now to tell people what I do.

41:19
So it was more like a lesson of me, like I was holding myself back.

41:22 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Yeah, that sounds like what Carla is like really owning who you are and what you do. Did you guys feel like that? For you, anyone else feel like that? It’s like really stepping in to own what you do as a practitioner, as a coach, as a healer. Everyone’s smiling and nodding at me. They can’t see your faces for some of them, so we’ll just imagine they’re there. That’s what they’re all doing. They’re all smiling politely and nodding at me. Does anybody want to share a particular milestone or a breakthrough or aha, or like what was your favorite part of being in the IEA training? I know for a lot of you who had the training you wanted to come for the business stuff or maybe for the community, or maybe for the camaraderie or having someone to ask questions to. I’d love to hear from you guys. I guess I’ll call on you Millie, emily, ok, hey, and Allison Great, all right, we got people who want to talk to me, all right.

42:17 – Allison Delatore (Guest)
Go for it, gals. So I already had an established business for several years. When I jumped into IEA and I came in really for the business, I was already a professional intuitive you know I’m an advanced Akashic record practitioner. I was already doing the stuff.

42:34
But I really wanted to take the business stuff to the next level and one of the things that I loved about the IEA business part was like it really goes into like the nitty gritty piece right. So like I know how to make a meditation or an activation or an attunement, but what’s the best equipment to use for it Like little stuff like that that maybe doesn’t get covered in other business courses. And even some of the really detailed stuff about social media and you know the algorithms, which, granted, they’re always changing, but how the algorithms work and how you could inadvertently be blocking your stuff from being seen because you’re doing something that the algorithm doesn’t like right. So I found all of that stuff to be immensely helpful as a small business owner, just to have that support and that the nitty gritty details about how to do things that you don’t always get in other courses.

43:32 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Yeah, and I will say that the social media part was the hardest thing to teach. Well, not every everything was the hardest thing to teach, but that part in particular was really challenging as to not go into training how to use the platform, knowing that in five minutes after I teach it it’s going to change, but really teaching you know the overall and like what is the growth strategy for these platforms and who is on them, and how to connect with your soulmate client and connect where they are versus just where you are currently, which I think you’ve done a really great job of really being visible on all the different platforms that your soulmate client is. I think you do great. Yeah, thank you, You’re welcome, Emily. I saw you unmute yourself. Come on back.

44:15 – Emily Pearl (Guest)
My favorite part of the training was the retreat. I felt like I left the retreat having just like a really good overview of what my business looks like, from start to finish. I can see the bigger picture now and I can see exactly like how different things will come together to create passive income and to really snowball off of there. So I yeah, I really love the retreat. I really love getting to meet the community. That was really fun. And I really loved getting to meet the community. That was really fun. And I really liked the strategy and the planning. I feel really good about things. That was really awesome. I’m sorry you had.

44:52 – Emily Aarons (Host)
We had such a fun moment when my team member, shauna, shared that she saw you and your husband, maddie, who’s also a business partner. We were doing an M&A call and this word came out of my mouth. I’m like is this a word? And you and Maddie I’m new You’re like that is a word and I will tell you about it. It’s from this thing and I’m like, oh damn, which got like kind of the eyes on you.

45:12
So Shauna like found your Instagram, then went to your website and then she knew we were we’re all at the retreat talk on this. And she’s like I know that you have a session for this and a session for that. And I go so did you buy? And she’s like I didn’t. I’m like, ooh, this is amazing. We got, we all got so excited, because it’s not often that you have a potential customer in front of you who is willing to tell you why they didn’t buy. Yeah, that was really awesome. That was so much fun.

45:46
I, we all geeked out about it and through that exercise, we got to understand what does that first touch point need to be when you are connecting with people and they’re they’re actually interested enough to go to your website. What can you give them? And at first it was like maybe I can give them this meditation I’ve already made, and she was like and then I forget exactly what you came up with together, but she was like I need that, I want that. It was like, okay, we will make this. And then, understanding, you know how to be clearer on your website communication and, you know, really directing people to the next step. I mean it was so powerful to see that and to see, like where you can go after. That is like so much fun, because a lot of times we’re just in the here and now, like I just need to get a couple clients this week, and we’re not thinking about the broad picture and the impact that we truly could create through the work. Uh, which I thought you just like really opened up so much at the retreat.

46:42 – Emily Pearl (Guest)
Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah, we did have fun, we definitely had fun. But the um, but yeah, I mean I’ve been implementing all of the things that I’ve learned over. Well, I mean we spent days in the car to finally make it to Arizona and then now I’ve spent literally like probably about 16 hours yesterday on the website. So my gosh going a minute and I can really see the bigger picture, and so I’m feeling really good. Oh, good, I’m so happy.

47:13 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Yeah, we had some really great moments at the retreat where it was a blend of hands on healing. We all got to do a little hands on work because you know, being on Zoom, you don’t get to put your hands on people. We got to do advanced aura work, advanced pendulum work, the strategy. We did a lot of intention setting at the very beginning and it was fun. Every single day we’re like checking off every single one of the intentions that we had individually as well as as a collective. And then we had days where we really focused on strategy and breaking through our fears, and I’m not going to say what we did because I don’t want to ruin everybody in the future.

47:52
All I will say is that the women who did this exercise also enjoyed a very long cold plunge at the end of the day. So that day was one of the most transformative days for everybody on so many levels, because they were breaking through their blocks, they were focused on, like on their strategy, they were opening up to new levels in their business and they were challenging themselves with this like cold immersion thing all of a sudden, and it was just really phenomenal to see everybody shift in such a tremendous way and really connect. I mean, you know, one of the things that IEA does, which I’m sure you guys can speak to, is is building this network. You know, when you’re not confident in yourself or your practice and like where is it going, what am I doing? And like having people who see you and who believe in you and who are willing to say, yeah, we can practice on each other, or you know what I love, that thing that you just did is sometimes makes all the difference.

48:46
So I would love to hear from you guys you know how you felt about the community within IEA. Did you feel supported? Did it feel empowering? Did it feel like just another course and nobody’s paying attention to you. I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to unmute just go for it.

49:03 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
For it, I loved the community. I think that was one of the best parts, you know, because in the beginning I knew like I wasn’t confident in myself and even during the sessions, you know, the people in the training were like you can do this, like good job, and they were like work me up to believe in myself as well and we have friendships now that you know, even after the training, we’re connecting, we’re doing um collaborations together, you know it’s fun and those relationships will last forever oh for sure.

49:34 – Carla Miller (Guest)
Yeah, I agree like we’ve made some really good friends. It was nice to share things and have someone to back these things that were coming up that you might not necessarily wanted to talk about in the session, and then they would encourage you to share it once they’d helped you work through it. And, like Jamie says, we’ve done sessions together me, you and Shannon and it’s just been so much fun to like to do that as well, and especially when we were first getting out there and you felt a little bit more scared to have our little wing women with us doing it together.

50:09 – Shannon Major (Guest)
It was so nice yeah, I really loved the support that our whole group had because we were able to, you know, bounce ideas off of one another. We had sessions together. You know we would send messages and be like, hey, you know, what do you think about this. Or you know we would send messages and be like, hey, you know, what do you think about this. Or you know, if there was something that came up or a question, you know we were, you know and still are very much there, you know, to support everybody. So, yeah, I really love to the love and support that we, you know, have and still have.

50:40 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
And then you get to meet in person at the retreat.

50:44 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It’s not too late for some people. Hey, listeners, I want to hop into this week’s podcast to share something that I’ve been using for about a year now, and I’ve just been so in love with it, which is FLFE Focus Life Force Energy and what it is is a service that provides a higher level of consciousness directly to a mobile device or to a property.

51:13
I personally love it on my phone because I can do a boost before I go live. I can use it when I’m going to have a tough conversation just to get a higher level of consciousness.

51:23 – Emily Aarons (Host)
As well as EMF mitigation.

51:26 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So it’s kind of like taking a bubble of positivity with you and it’s super supportive, not just for your energy, but also for your health for abundance, as well as relationships.

51:37
So as a podcast listener, I want to get you to try FLE completely free. Now, this is an amazing opportunity to get a 15-day free trial. You don’t have to enter a credit card, that’s right. I know you’re here for a reason. I know you’re here to help more people and to make a positive impact in the world. Flfe is absolutely a great way to do that.

52:30 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Again, emilyarendscom forward. Slash FLFE to start your 15-day free trial today.

52:38 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So I feel like it’s been really nice to get this full picture and part of the IEA training that I didn’t know was coming at the beginning when it first came through, was the coaching training, and that came through sort of near like the midway point I would say for the first round. And it made sense because the first round it’s been mostly myself and my team, you know, getting all the calls and all the links and making sure that the things are getting done. And Amanda is like the woman who is just like the master of all things in the business, and I don’t say that lightly, I do truly mean that if it weren’t for Amanda I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again If it weren’t for Amanda, this program wouldn’t be what it is today, both with the systems, with keeping people accountable, with moving everybody forward through the program, making sure everything is done and to just hold the space. I mean she’s a beautiful energy to hold the container, not just like. She’s not like a stickler, like poking people and you know me and she’s wonderful and she brings this great energy to the space. She’s wonderful and she brings this great energy to the space.

53:52
And when we realize that there is like another level that’s ready to be out. There is the coach training, which means that we take the graduates from the first level and we teach them more behind the scenes of how I literally run my business, how the systems literally work, how to help students, how to support them, how to be a coach and all of the different pieces that really go together to keep students on track and moving forward through the program. So I would love to hear from some of the coach trainees Shannon and Jamie, you know you guys have been through the coach training and are about to start coaching. How did you feel the coach training is different than the initial IEA training?

54:39 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
It’s definitely more business, right.

54:41
So IEA, the practitioner training, was half energy, half business.

54:45
But this is like really, like you said, behind the scenes work or like the platforms and the things that the practitioners don’t see, like the scheduling and making sure everybody’s on track and a lot of that work. So that’s like very interesting too, because you know, when I was in the practitioner training, I would just email Amanda and say like I’m having this problem, can you? And then like now to see on her end, like all the work that she had to figure out, I was like Whoa, like Amanda, I’m so sorry I put you through this, but yeah, so it’s very interesting. And then also like it’s taught me a lot about like I need personally more structure, and so it’s given me a little bit of like an outline of how to structure my days, my schedules. You know what am I going to do on this day, how I’m going to make sure that my clients are keeping track. So it’s actually helped me a little bit more versus the one session and like that’s it like following up and more of a journey than you know a visit.

55:41 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Awesome. How about for you, Shannon?

55:43 – Shannon Major (Guest)
Yeah, I’d have to totally agree with pretty much all of what Jamie said as well. As you know being able to see how you can support new students that are coming in into the certification and know you know being able to see how you can support new students that are coming in into the certification and know you know the different ways that you can help them along. And you know realizing just what a wonderful human being Amanda really is. For sure, yeah, so, and being able to see definitely the business, the backend of it, to kind of see all the ins and outs of how everything works.

56:19 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Yeah, there’s two intentions behind that. Number one so you can become a coach and move people through my program. The second one is so that you can be a coach and move your own students through your own programs, because what we created has not been created before in the way that we created it. There’s not a template, there is not a plug and play system, there is certainly not a software that you just get everything all within a bundle and you just plug in what you need and it just goes. It’s all been manually done.

56:51
And what’s so special is like when we built IEA, it was with the intention of this has got to be done. From scale and a lot of the things that we do as business owners, we think of like the here and now, of like the first five people and the first 10 people, but like what if it was 500 and 1000? Can this system still work and still be manageable with that volume? And so when you keep that in mind, it makes you think bigger, it makes you make different choices, and so part of the training is also to bring you into that thought process and to think bigger for yourself and your own business. How can you apply what we did and how we marketed and how we do the backend in your own business as well, and that’s just. It’s like it’s just a deeper level of expansion, which I love, and taking people through that customer value journey is the final piece of your program that you’re gonna get.

57:44
I wanna wrap this up because I know we’ve had a lot to share and I know we briefly talked about the retreat, we briefly talked about the coaching training. Is there anything else Like if somebody were on the fence around joining IEA? I would love to hear what if they were asking you for your advice. You know, I don’t know if I should do it. Is it worth the investment? What do I do? I’d love to hear your feedback.

58:08 – Carla Miller (Guest)
If you’re thinking about doing it, do it. You know it’s life changing. If this is what you want to do, just do it, yeah.

58:18 – Jamie LiCausi (Guest)
I agree. I agree it’s worth the investment. You know, stop spending the money on you know the Instagram ads and really invest in this because you won’t be mistaken, it was so much fun.

58:33 – Shannon Major (Guest)
Yeah, you learned so much about yourself in the process. It’s absolutely mind blowing.

58:38 – Millie Barra (Guest)
For me. I know I went into it going okay, I really want to cause, I love Emily and like I want to do anything that Emily does. But I was like I already have a practice, I already am certified, like do I really need one more certification? And then I’m like, and do I really have the money? Like I don’t have the money to like spend for this.

58:57
And for me it was like but no, like I would do this hands down if that wasn’t an issue thing it has not only helped me as a practitioner, like with my own energy, because I kept saying to Emily I’m like I don’t know why I’m not able to get like fully booked, I don’t know why I’m not getting more clients. And that really struck with me and she’s like, well, you need to like make sure that you are taking care of your energy, and the boundaries and things that she helps you set are priceless, because you know it’s kind of again, you can’t pour from an empty cup, and so really making sure that you as a practitioner are holding yourself up and just the knowledge and the skills and the connections alone. Also, like you know, return on investment. The connections I’m making are leading me to other things too that are bringing in more revenue.

59:48
So, yeah, I think it was the best decision I made even though I have already stopped you know, it just adds additional stuff and just makes me even better.

59:58 – Allison Delatore (Guest)
I agree with what all of the ladies have said, and especially like what Millie just said. You know, like I already have the stuff, but it is another tool in the toolbox that can be used as a standalone thing or it can be used in conjunction with other tools that you have. And I think, especially if you’re someone that already has a business but is a typical solopreneur who’s in the state of normal solopreneur overwhelm that can happen when you’re trying to juggle everything under the sun. I think it’s helpful having that added business expertise. That just makes things easier. When someone just tells you what to do, like this is how you do it. Right, it’s like the smallest thing, but it makes such a difference. So I would say, just let it be choiceless, you know, and if your inclination is to do it, but right, just do it anyway.

01:00:57 – Shannon Major (Guest)
Just do it anyway. Emily or Susie, you want to share?

01:01:00 – Suzy Almeida (Guest)
Share. Yeah, I would say, do it. You learn a lot, not only about business, but you learn a lot about yourself. You learn a lot about what you can give and what, how you can help others grow, like your whole perception of how life should be changed, like, especially for me, how to change your thoughts, how to trust your intuition, how to manifest. And it’s about you know, leading with your heart and giving all that you’ve got and yeah, yeah, totally, it was worth every penny. If you’re, don’t, be on the fence, just do it.

01:01:38 – Emily Aarons (Host)

04:32 – Emily Aarons (Host)

29:37 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So the reason why I have switched- from my regular coffee to using Everyday everyday dose is because it’s helped me to feel like my brain is alert.

29:46 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’m functioning, but without the crash and the jitters that coffee kind of comes with.

29:52 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It’s delicious. It tastes like coffee, so if you’re kind of a coffee snob, the way that I am, you don’t have to lose that love for coffee.

30:00 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It is right there. So one of the things.

30:03 – Emily Aarons (Host)
I’ve noticed, is a boost of energy and we all know to get in your highest alignment.

30:07 – Emily Aarons (Host)
You need that energy. My gut health has been totally improved I’ve been actually sleeping better and it’s also a great product because everyday dose is GMO free, it’s keto, it’s dairy free, it’s gluten free and it is USDA organic ingredients. So what I would love to invite you to do is try it for a week completely free.

30:29 – Emily Aarons (Host)
So go over to my special link as an affiliate.

30:32 – Emily Aarons (Host)
It’s emilyerenscom forward slash start dose that will get you started on your one-week trial. You just pay for shipping, so you’ll get to experience the awesomeness that is everyday dose at no risk.

30:46 – Emily Aarons (Host)
Again, emilyerenscom forward slash start dose. You’ll thank me later.

30:54 – Emily Aarons (Host)

You can try it for free without entering any information. So head on over to emilyerinscom. Forward slash. Flfe that’s Focus, life Force Energy. You can learn all about FLFE and the multiple benefits that it provides. This service is so incredible. I’ve actually recommended to all of my practitioners to help them to raise their level of consciousness so that the work that they’re doing out there in the world is amplified.

Thanks. Well, thank you all for being here. I truly admire all of you individually as amazing practitioners and women. I love that you got to do this podcast with me. Hey listeners, I wanted to hop into this week’s podcast to share something that I’ve been using for about a year now and I’ve just been so in love with it, which is FLFE Focus Life Force Energy and what it is is a service that provides a higher level of consciousness directly to a mobile device or to a property. I personally love it on my phone because I can do a boost before I go live. I can use it when I’m going to have a tough conversation, just to get a higher level of consciousness as well as EMF mitigation. So it’s kind of like taking a bubble of positivity with you, and it’s super supportive, not just for your energy, but also for your health, for abundance, as well as relationships. So, as a podcast listener, I want to get you to try FLFE completely free. Now. This is an amazing opportunity to get a 15 day free trial. You don’t have to enter a credit card. That’s right. You can try it for free without entering any information. So head on over to EmilyErenscom. Forward slash. F-l-f-e. That’s Focus, life Force Energy. You can learn all about FLFE and the multiple benefits that it provides. This service is so incredible. I’ve actually recommended to all of my practitioners to help them to raise their level of consciousness so that the work that they’re doing out there in the world is amplified. I know you’re here for a reason. I know you’re here to help more people and to make a positive impact in the world. Flfe is absolutely a great way to do that. Again, emilyerenscom, forward slash F-L-F-E to start your 15 day free trial.

01:47
Today You’re listening to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast. I’m your host, emilyerens. It’s time you experience business and soul alignment. Hey listeners, welcome back to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast, episode number 446. And warm welcome to anybody who is brand new here.

03:03
This is going to be a little bit of a different episode because I’m having a conversation that I’ve never had publicly, so it’s kind of a coming out, in a way, and it’s a reflection, and I’ll be offering my reflection as a gift for you as well. So, as we begin this episode, I wanted to share I pulled a card for us and the card is approved. You are more than enough, and I love this card for today’s conversation because it’s really central to what this episode is really about. So let’s get right into it. So I wanted to pull back the curtain, as I always do here with my listeners and, frankly, with anybody who’s in any of my coaching programs, who’s gotten to work with me directly or who’s worked with me privately in sessions. You know what I’m like in person. I am an open book. I’m very much who I am in front of the camera is exactly who I am behind it, and so I wanted to share this from a deep place of vulnerability, really, and kind of pull back the curtain to the practices of online business as well and what we’re here to do as spiritual entrepreneurs in the greater picture of things. So I want to share.

04:25
In the last six months I have been well actually it’s been longer than that, if I’m really being honest probably the last two years. In the last two years I have been really called to work with plant medicine and I haven’t been called to go to Peru and do ayahuasca at this moment, but I have been called to work with various plant medicines. Now you know, I have a backyard farm and I love gardening, I love my animals and I love connecting with nature and being outside in nature on my daily walks is just part of my daily routine. Some of you know I do cold plunges and really it started with going with a group of people outside to be in the elements of the cold and really experience that. And my journey with plant medicine has brought me to make some swaps.

05:20
So I switched my regular coffee to using a mushroom based coffee. It was really important to me that I was able to hold this high vibration so that I could serve at my highest level, and I noticed coffee wasn’t doing that for me. It was giving me crashes. So I switched to everyday dose, which you’ve probably heard the advertisements on this podcast for, or you’ve heard me talk about it, but I’ve also been micro dosing with mushrooms and so with psilocybin you can take very, very small doses and have really no psychedelic effect. It’s just starting to kind of work with your body, with your brain, and I noticed, with taking small amounts, very, very, very small amounts, where the psilocybin was actually mixed with organic honey and just having like a little spoonful a few times a week and sort of just seeing how that felt. That’s how I began my journey because frankly, I wasn’t sure how plant medicine would interact with me and I’ve certainly watched plenty of documentaries, which I’ll be happy to put links to some really great documentaries to give information if you are curious, to kind of broaden your perspective.

06:42
And really that’s not what this episode is about. I’m not going to go into the detail of the science and the research. I am not a pro, I am an amateur and I would say that with a big caveat, which is I am not diagnosing, I’m not prescribing, I’m personally just sharing my own experience. And so if you’re not at all interested in plant medicine, then just leave that aside, because there’s a bigger message and I think what’s the bigger message is, around doing what’s right in your heart. And so, basically, about six months ago was the first experience I had with a larger dose, and what happened was a friend of mine, who had been very experienced with plant medicine, led me on a journey and in that journey I felt these veils releasing from me that had kept me from sharing my gifts as an open channel, as a clear conduit, and the plant medicine really showed me throughout my life how many times I had essentially holding back my gifts, since I was a young child and realizing that, even though I didn’t feel like I was born with any intuitive gifts, I actually was.

08:07
And it was that the people who were closest with me my family, my friends they may have recognized some of that and kind of dismissed it or muffled it when they noticed it in me. And it’s a pattern of, I think, a lot of us light workers where we have this really bright, big, enormous radiant light that we want to share in the world. And sometimes the people who are closest with us maybe with no malicious intent. They want to keep us safe and away from harm, and so the best way that they know how to do that is, to kind of stuff down the light. This has happened to me all my life, within my professional career, within my relationships. I had been married previously to my different husband and he recognized that light and was trying to make me somebody who I wasn’t. And I always say that divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me, because I’ve rediscovered my light. I rediscovered who I am and who I’ve always been, which is somebody who is here to raise a level of consciousness, not just with myself but to spread it to millions of people around the world. And I can say for sure I wouldn’t be where I am today if I was still walking that other path.

09:25
And I feel like it was a combination of my prayers, of like I need something more, I’m hungry for it and just divine intervention that shifted my path. And through that first initial journey, I also was brought back to seeing my lineage, my ancestors and these little blurbs that I had seen in meditation, these images and going, learning through Akashic records of my past life. It was like everything started to like, make sense and I got to see through a different perspective, a different vantage point, how not just in this lifetime have I been muffled and muted and my light has been almost like stuffed down. But also it’s been happening through my lineage and my ancestors showed up and showed me in so many ways how we have always been able to shape, shift and to transform and to transmute. It’s been something that I’ve been, that’s been passed down generationally, that really has not been spoken about for so, so long, and it’s back to, I want to say, like druid time, where my ancestors brought me to really identify these gifts and allow them to blossom and to really identify and as myself, as like no, you are a clear conduit, you are a clear channel. So that’s been really like enormously helpful for me to reawaken and reignite that clarity for myself.

11:05
Hey friend, I wanted to hop into this podcast episode to share with you my favorite coffee alternative that doesn’t give you anxiety or stress or make you have an afternoon crash. That is why I’m talking about mushroom coffee. And, listen, I have been a coffee lover for most of my life. I like it, drink it black. I really do love the taste of coffee. So finding a good tasting coffee that performed well, that didn’t give me the jitters, was really important for me and I’ve tried a whole bunch of them and the one that I’ve really become obsessed with over the last year.

11:39
Plus is called everyday dose. It is a blend of mushrooms from the fruiting body, not just the mycelium, so it has lion’s mane and chaga. It also does have a coffee extract in it, so it does taste like coffee. Plus, it has collagen and L-theanine. So L-theanine is something I also take on a regular because it helps with lowering stress, and as busy entrepreneurs, I know you got stress.

12:04
So I would love for you to take a try of everyday dose. I know it will change your life the way it has changed mine, and now you can try it out as only a dollar a day. So they have these really cool starter kits that come with a little electric rechargeable frother. There’s a cool spoon and a resealable, refillable container. I love it. I think you’re going to love it too.

12:28
You can head on over to my very special link. It’s called EmilyEaronscom forward slash start dose. That’s EmilyEaronscom forward slash start dose. I think you’re going to love it as much as I do. Now, listen, I know we all have different dietary sensitivities, so you know it’s gluten free, it’s paleo, it’s keto, it’s soy free, it’s dairy free, there’s no sugar and it is non-GMO. So I want you to understand that I would never recommend something unless I had personally tried it and loved it, and this is how I feel about everyday dose. So head on over to EmilyEaronscom forward slash start dose today. You’ll thank me later, and I have taken my own personal journeys with the plant medicine, in smaller doses, by myself as well, where I was able to really connect deeply with the earth and with animals and the natural ebb and flow of life, and I was also able to receive some deep, deep healing in so many different ways.

13:35
But recently I was called again to the medicine of psilocybin, of mushrooms, and what it taught me recently was basically some of the feelings that I have been feeling in the last couple of years, that I have identified as stress and anxiety, were actually rooted in deep sadness, and what I mean by that is I had such an enormous release of deep sadness, of pain, not just from myself, but also from my family, from my kids, from my parents, from my grandparents and my great grandparents. All of this information that was shared with me through this journey brought me back to release in such a profound way, and for those of you who do somatic therapy or tapping or past life regressions or caustic records, or you’re working on a deep level with yourself or your clients. You totally get it. My body was releasing sound of pain and I didn’t identify that consciously and I’ve been working so diligently for years of daily meditation and in the last year with hypnosis and with all kinds of different things, of getting even more clear. I eliminated alcohol completely, I don’t know, like five years ago. So a lot of these things that I just get closer and closer and I’m kind of like always a student to self-improvement and part of what showed up for me was how much sadness I had been carrying since I was a child, in fact since I was an infant and in my life experience, while I had two parents who provided for me, I wasn’t homeless, thank goodness, and I wasn’t abused physically at all. I had a pretty privileged life and that’s how I felt growing up. I felt like I had everything. It’s been since I became a mother.

15:49
That I’ve realized actually, you know, there’s been traumatic experiences in my life is not as much and this is what Dr Gabor Maté says is. It’s not. Trauma isn’t necessarily always what happens to you, it’s what happens inside of you and I really feel like all of us, especially as entrepreneurs and even more so as light workers, people who are here to help others we’ve all been through it in our own way. In some way we’ve been through our own level of traumatic events and we carry those with us. And you know, science has proven that we do have cellular memories and we also have proven that things have the ability to be passed down genetically, right, so we might have feelings and pains or beliefs that we don’t even. We haven’t even experienced that trauma, but it’s been passed down generationally.

16:46
And so what I know to be true for myself and I’m sure other people have experiences themselves, especially, you know, when I work with people one-on-one I have been doing this for so many hundreds of people that you know so much healing happens when we can connect with our inner child of these initial wounds but not just the inner child here in this lifetime. Oftentimes it takes us back to the lifetime previous to this, or multiple lifetimes previous to this where it actually originated, and to be able to identify those places and to clear them is like such a tremendous gift, and I feel like that’s certainly what plant medicine has helped me to do and process on my own and through the help of the plant. And so I say all this because I want to just share my personal experience and also to say it’s not for everybody, it really isn’t, but as entrepreneurs, I think we do take on a lot of trauma as we put ourselves out there, as we were judged by other people, as we try to sell something and it doesn’t work, or we sell something and it does work. The amount of energy that we have to put into making things successful is pretty enormous, and so I want to just say that, through processing so much of this sadness, it also helped me to realize what things bring me joy. And in reflecting through these journeys, I was able to come back to really my mission. My mission, my purpose, which I’m sure you all have heard multiple times, which is, like I’ve already said, to raise the consciousness, but also to help millions of practitioners to build a sustainable and successful business. Now, what I mean by successful is, however you define success. Maybe success is having a brick and mortar that you just have clients coming in regularly. Maybe success is having a financial freedom where you can go on vacations whenever you want. Maybe success is you have a flexible schedule and you can be available for your family, or having not have to be dependent on being at an office and location dependent. So success is different for everybody, but sustainability is the same, which is having a business that fuels you, that feeds you, that allows you to feel like you’re making a difference in the world and that doesn’t drain your life force energy at the same time.

19:36
When I transitioned out of the brick and mortar in my healing business and started to transition online, I found myself really confused and trying to figure out the solution to make all of these ideas of mine work together. I wanted to sell meditations, I wanted to have a membership, I wanted to be able to take payments that were reoccurring and to send emails and to create websites, and it seemed like I had to invest in so many different systems and sometimes they wouldn’t even work together. Well, that all changed when I found Kajabi. That has been such a life send. I love Kajabi because it’s easy to use, it’s super user friendly, there’s great reporting and it makes it seamless for my customers to find me and to buy any of my products or services. I highly recommend Kajabi and if you want to check it out. Right now. You can head on over to EmilyArenscom forward slash Kajabi and you can take a test drive, see if it’s something that works for you. But I know you’re here because you’re ready to take yourself and your business seriously and really Kajabi is the easiest place to go to start building your online business. Again, emilyarenscom, forward slash Kajabi and get started today.

20:59
And so, as I was processing and as I continue, this is never ending. We don’t just heal a wound once and it’s done, for we ascend and as people who are constantly looking to discover new places that we can grow to, we’re also simultaneously faced with processing the trauma from that level in our life. And so my guidance showed me years ago healing is kind of an ongoing thing where you know if you see a staircase that has dirt on it, you don’t sweep the bottom step and go look, I clean the stairs. I thought I cleaned that step already. You know when we are going to a next level. We have a whole nother step. We have to clean that step and then one above it and the one above it. So you know, healing is an ongoing process and so there’s always going to be new discoveries and also maybe it feels like, oh well, I thought I worked on my abandonment wounds, but in fact you did. But now you’re on a new level, right, you’re making more money, you’re making a bigger impact. You are a different person each and every day when you are committed to this level of growth, and that’s just part of this journey for all of us.

22:09
So when I look back at some of the traumatic things that happened inside of me, it was all circulating around being alone, doing things alone, processing my life alone. And when I became a mom, I’m realizing how involved I want to be with my kids and how present I want to be with my kids and how important they are and their beliefs and their personalities and their likes and dislikes. And I’m so present to that, which only amplifies the trauma from my childhood that my parents were pretty aloof and weren’t really interested in that. And so I process a lot from the place of my core wound about abandonment. And I’m not saying my parents are bad people. They did the best that they could and I grew up alone most of the time and I moved a lot and there was instability and I had to grow up really fast at a really young age, which caused its own set of problems. But when I process some of this sadness and some of this abandonment, I also got to see how I have grown and how I’ve flourished, and I’m such an achiever. I’m hungry for more knowledge, I’m hungry for growth and I think that’s a gift as an entrepreneur, because I’m always seeking how to improve myself and those around me, and sometimes to my detriment.

23:30
I just don’t stop and I think that part of what I want to share with you today is what came through really after my journey. And I was in my backyard well, my neighbor’s backyard technically out in this big open field which maybe you’ve seen through, like my Instagram stories, where I walk my dog a lot and this big open grassy field and I laid down in the sun and now it’s it is winter right now it was pretty chilly, but the sun was beaming down me and as I laid down in the grass and the sun was beaming down me and I was so literally grounded, I was connected to the earth and I could feel my body just deeply exhale and I thought I wonder how many people need that, like just to stop, just to lay down and to exhale. How many people do you know, do that? Do you do that? I mean, I hug trees every day and I’m with nature, but I don’t necessarily give myself the space to just let go. And I mean I’m so privileged I have this huge access to backyard and to this field.

24:43
And, you know, I think, wow, these people who live in big cities or congested areas or apartment buildings and you don’t have access to grass unless you go to a public park. And then what are you, the weirdo who’s laying down in the field, like are you okay? You know it’s like socially not acceptable to just lay down, and even like my dog was running over to me, like are you okay? Because this is not normal. And I kind of thought like, wow, what a privilege it is that in the middle of the quote unquote workday, I’m laying down in the grass in the sun and letting go of my worries, letting go of my stress, letting go of my sadness and processing the bigger question, which is what brings me joy? And so, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing at this moment, I would invite you to answer that question for yourself, and when you think about what brings you joy, you can start to get clearer instructions on how you want to live your life, and I will also say this is, while my life is literally the best ever, it’s better than it’s ever been in my entire life.

25:57
Today now, I would find myself, you know, in joyous moments with my family, but my head might be somewhere else. I might be thinking about work, I might be thinking about a client, I might be thinking about what we’re doing tomorrow or for dinner or other things, like I’m physically there, but I mentally kind of checked out and I also would notice myself checking in on social media to see like, did somebody like my post? Did somebody comment back? Did they have a question? Did we get back to them right away? Did we answer that email fast enough? Did you know?

26:34
And so when you’re in online business, there’s this kind of implication that you are available 24 hours a day, and right now we’re really transitioning. I say we is my team and I we’re transitioning my team, my company, so that it’s not a launch model where we have to exert a ton of energy and focus to put something out there and get a result and then kind of you know, debrief, look at what worked, what didn’t work and do it all again another time with another product or another program, because I mean, for years I’ve been saying this that it’s just not sustainable like it works and there’s something very good about it, but as a long-term strategy it’s not as sustainable and some people it is. But I’ve also seen in the last year a lot of online entrepreneurs quit. I’ve seen a lot more of them share about their burnout, their fatigue, their exhaustion, and they start to see physical symptoms. You know, for me, I had a rash on my face. That has cleared up since, but you know that was one of the physical manifestations of all of the stress that I had been under. And as the main breadwinner of my family and as somebody who is literally I’m responsible for the salaries of everybody on my team, I can’t just decide to phone it in like this machine has to work, and so that kind of brought me to looking at the machine itself.

28:06
My business has its own machine and the greater machine that is online business, and what I realized was that and I know you’ve all felt this as well that the tides are definitely changing. We’ve talked, I think, on this episode, on this podcast, and you can see it in social media. You can see other marketers are using the terminology of bro marketing because they use they people call it bro marketing because the primary culprits I guess the people who were primarily in charge of the messaging to buy the course and follow the five step plan and get six figures in 10 days or whatever they were promising you. We’ve seen that kind of shift into people going no, that kind of didn’t feel good. That’s not really that ethical.

29:01
And you know, what happened through the pandemic is that everybody went online and started buying a lot of things and they started to see the bullshit of what online business can really be, where this I’m going to call it the machine, the machine of online business is kind of dictating the way in which you have to play this game in order to win and to succeed, and not all of these bigger named marketers or gurus, whatever you want to call them they’re not all men, many of them are women and you know, I don’t know when online business really was birthed and when it all started, but I do know right now, at the beginning of 2024, the tides have started to shift significantly and instead of seeing languaging, of pushing people’s pain and in kind of scare tactics to get them to buy, they’re pulling more with the desired outcome not pushing with pain, but really pulling with that desired frequency of what it could be like. Imagine if, what? If? It could look like this and feel like that, and I know for me it definitely resonates way more. I’m sure it does for you too where, instead of going with your fears, you’re opening up to something greater. But, that being said, I really started to question, you know, the ethics of it all, and the thing that became really abundantly clear to me was that online business has kind of got this model and I listen, I’ve probably taught some of you this model because it was taught to me and I believed that it to be truth. And you know, all of the strategies that we use were just an idea, and then it was a thought, and then it was a strategy, and then we believed that it worked, so we did it and so it worked. And I feel like, because those tactics are kind of crumbling, we’re starting to see through these cracks of going.

31:03
Well, where is the humanity? And I think that the machine of online business, its job, is to keep us separate, and we can include social media, and that, too, like the design, was to bring us together. Right, you could see your friends from high school and your long lost family members on Facebook and Instagram, but then they’re sort of birthed the age of influencers, which people were just popular for the sake of being popular and we kind of went with it and we kind of go oh, this influencer is letting me know about this product or this program or this clothing or whatever, and this is important. So now it’s important and we subscribe to these beliefs and I mean I’m victim of it as well. We’re all, we all are. We’ve all bought into these stories and these beliefs. But we also have to look at, like again, the ethics and the humanity.

31:58
And I think the question that I posed to myself was really well, how, how do we beat the machine? How do we beat this machine that is telling us okay, well, there’s this sort of this hierarchy and you know you want people to climb this ladder to the top and then everything that you sell them as it gets closer to you is going to be the most expensive thing, because you are the golden goose and you are the most important and you are the prized possession that people want to get out. So that should be the most important and in some ways I agree, because the person, the golden goose, is the person who has spent probably years cultivating their crafts, their skills, their knowledge. They’ve probably spent thousands of dollars in order to gain that knowledge and to gain that experience and that wisdom, like, like I have, and I know for a lot of really successful entrepreneurs it’s both. It’s you spend the time and you spend the money and then you get to be an expert.

33:06
But you also have to think of like isn’t that just the intrinsic value of anybody? Like, we’ve all got life experiences, we’ve all learned and become an expert at something. So, yes, it is valuable, but who is setting the price? Who says that a private session should be tens of thousands of dollars? Who says that a course should be thousands or hundreds? And you know, I’ve always debated that and I’m sure all of you have too. When you’re trying to set your price, where you’re like it’s like who knows? Like it’s almost irrelevant. Like the value is there, the price is the price is the price. So, whether you sell it for $7 or $7,000, like it’s all how you market it to show people what the value is.

33:54
But also, we’ve been in the place of kind of being hypnotized, and I have worked with specific marketers who have told me their strategies that they use NLP, neurolinguistic Programming. They use hypnotic language in all of their marketing and their videos and their advertisement and that helps them to get people to buy. And on one hand you go well, that makes sense, and especially as a strategy like give me some of that, I want everyone to buy it for me. But as a human, it’s like so you’re manipulating people to buy. But that is also marketing, like look at every advertising out there. It’s all a bit of manipulation in order for you to buy the thing that they’re selling.

34:44
And so it keeps just bringing me back to this thing of how can we bring more humanity, more ethics, more integrity into everything that we do, everything that we bring out there? And I believe myself and my business has always been on this other leading edge of let’s bring people together, let’s make it more accessible, let’s make sure that we can help as many people as possible. I mean, I have 446 episodes of this podcast. That’s a lot of time, that’s a lot of energy to make what I have learned over the years to be accessible for free in countless YouTube videos and, oh my God, thousands of social media posts and thousands of emails and really being a human, and I remember peers who would be like you shouldn’t do one-on-one stuff. One-on-one stuff, you should get people into group stuff and maybe for them that was fine.

35:47
But for me, as somebody who came from the background of in-person one-on-one like, there is something so special and so sacred about that. Really, that in-person connection you can’t replace, and I absolutely love teaching practitioners how to do distance healing. I absolutely love the work that I do inside of the IEA, the Integrated Energy Alignment Practitioner Training. I love it because it allows people to have a whole another angle and skill set with learning about their intuition and learning about energy centers and learning about healing and learning about processing inner child work and so much, and it’s so easy to combine it with literally every modality you’ve ever learned ever. As well as I teach business skills, and some of the business skills are how do you play the game of online business, how do you play the game of marketing? How do you message so that people understand what you are offering in a really clear, concise way? And so there’s pieces and aspects of the online business machine that I totally agree with, but some of the ethics I absolutely do not.

36:59
When I was starting my online business, I realized pretty quickly I needed to build a funnel, and that was an easy way for people to opt in, to give me their name and their email address to join my email list, and I could send them a meditation, a PDF, a workshop, a video or something really special that allowed them to start building that no-like-and-trust energy with me. And the best way that I found to do this was through using lead pages. Lead pages has proven templates that are guaranteed to help you with the design. You don’t have to have a blank screen and become a web designer suddenly. They have templates that you can plug and play your message with your images, with your wording, but they are really easy to use and I find that their chat support is really responsive as well. So if you are looking for an easy way to start collecting leads, build your email list, starting to build that no-like-and-trust factor as well, I highly recommend you check out lead pages and head over to emilyaronscom forward slash lead pages to get started today. They have a really low price, easy to start option and I know you’re going to love it as much as I do Now.

38:18
I love lead pages for another reason. It’s because of their tracking. You can see when your lead pages are working by the conversion rates. They track the number, so you can see immediately if it’s working or if it’s not and how to tweak it. They also have diagrams inside to say this has to change or this has to change. So it’s really easy to start using lead pages right away. So again, emilyaronscom, forward, slash lead pages and get started today.

38:49
And so this sort of leads me to the next conversation, which not just what brings you joy, but also realizing that this is episode 446. And this podcast has been so impactful, for, I mean, we’re approaching almost a million downloads. I mean we’re getting there not quite there, but we’re getting there, and that’s a lot of downloads. And so I thought what better way to kind of approach 446 is to look up what the meaning the angel number 446 means in numerology and for those of you who are like expert numerologists, I could totally be wrong here. I just did a quick Google search and it says the 446 angel number means you can focus your mind on creating positive changes towards a more balanced life through manifesting. And so I feel like it’s and it says your focus is currently on the material world and you may be losing sight of life. So I thought that that was really fascinating, and so this episode is really centered around like losing sight.

40:00
And so what I really believe has happened in the world of the internet and online business is that, while the attempt was let’s connect people from all over the world this is great it’s also hypnotized us. It’s put us into this fog and we believe that doing certain things is going to bring us closer to people and calling in more clients, but what we’re doing is we’re just still hypnotized, and truly the only way to wake up and to change our patterning is to come back into our self, and obviously you know this, but through meditation, through connecting in nature, through time alone, through processing, through healing, we come back to our self and back to well, what brings me joy, what I want. And I wanted to kind of pose that question in different ways, because I see students even now who are saying I want to help more people and I say, great, here’s what you can do, and they go okay, I’m going to do that, and then a week goes by and they don’t do it, and so it’s like well, what you said you wanted to do it. So I’m going to share something that I channeled because I think it’s really relevant to consider for this episode. So this is about, you know, teaching as a teacher because that’s what I am I teach people how to build a successful and sustainable business, and so are we saying that it’s helping people navigate or are we pretending that it’s doing that?

41:45
And the world of online business? It feels like there’s no winner, because even if you look at the tippity top again, like I said, a lot of these people are burnt out and then you start looking of like but what is it all for? So that you can drive the fanciest car, you can live in the biggest, most glamorous house, so you can wear designer clothes, so you can take private jets. Like what is it really for? You know, like there are definitely parts of me that are like oh, I would love a nicer looking house or bigger plot of land or whatever, but some of the glitz is so superficial and it’s such a lie. And I know it’s a lie because I’ve been in close proximity and I’ve been in masterminds and I’ve been close with people who are saying one thing online I’m this big deal. I have these six and seven figure launches and behind the curtains are like, yeah, it actually cost me even more than I made. So you know, it’s kind of like we’re not being fully transparent with our clients and our customers to let them know like, yeah, you can have a six figure launch, but what is the cost? And I’m not saying that all online business owners are trash and they’re lying to you. But I also want to say it’s not as easy as it appears and I think that a lot of newer entrepreneurs can get tricked to thinking it’s so much easier than it is. So I’m going to read what I channeled so you just get gobbled up by the machine.

43:13
Who wins? Being human always wins. Teaching them how to connect with other humans in an ethical way brings us together, not apart. Centering our humanity always wins over the machine. There are no trends in being human. It’s care for one another and help out your friends and neighbors simple as that. Do good, do no harm, give back. Give more than you take. Stop playing the fucking game. The only way to beat the game is to be human. Use the strategy, but with caution. Never lose sight of being a human and serving others. We’ve achieved success because we’re hungry for knowledge, and it comes with a price. So either you spend years or you spend dollars, but usually both.

43:59
Like I mentioned previously, you see a problem, but what are you going to do about it? And this is a call to action for everyone. Listening is you know. All of you know in your heart that you’re here to help other people, but not a lot of you are going to do something about it. So that’s a big question. You see a problem, but what are you going to do about it? Because people just talk about fixing it, dream about fixing it. Few people actually step up and fix it. They get the job done. It’s so much easier to talk about it, to complain about it and to criticize who did it and I wanted to share that because you know a lot of people in entrepreneurship, especially newer. You don’t put yourself out there because you’re afraid of being judged.

44:47
And that last piece about people it’s easier to criticize the people who did it right when we see something going on in the world that we don’t like and we go that’s bad, people should fix it. Then people start to fix it and you go you shouldn’t have done it that way. I mean, that’s literally entrepreneurship, that’s everything. That’s the way the world works, and so taking criticism is kind of part of the job, and it’s really not for everybody, and so I wanted to share that. You know, this is not a podcast episode that I’m giving up my business or online business not even at all. What this is a podcast episode about is the dedication and full commitment to being as ethical and as human as possible and to teach more people how to do that, because I really believe that the world is in pain.

45:41
I believe that COVID was a wake-up call for a lot of people, but I also believe it’s caused intense global trauma. People are just starting to process it through their bodies and through their thoughts. I mean, there’s so much mental health problems. One in six people struggle with mental health problems. There has never been a time that’s more ripe for change, more ripe for practitioners to stand up and say I can help you. There is a caveat, though, which is we have to be cautious, because that machine of online business and more and more can gobble us up if we lose sight of our humanity and what brings us joy, and so this is a reminder of less, less, less.

46:28
And of course, it’s easy to say right. We know it’s easier to lay in a grassy field in the sun than write emails to people inviting them to work with you. It’s easier to dream about having a wellness center or to run retreats than to research locations and call people and to finance it and to believe in yourself and to bet on yourself and put money on a credit card that says I’m going to do this thing, I’m going to learn this skill, I’m going to open up this program, I’m going to put myself out there, I’m going to write these emails, I’m going to invest in Facebook ads. I’m going to invest in team members. I’m going to have a bookkeeper. I’m going to see myself as a pro and not look back and not think of a plan B. I’m going to go all in on my vision. I’m going to do this thing. It’s so much easier just to lay in a grassy field, it’s so much easier to dream about it, and so this could be a wake-up call. Like you know what Running a business is not for me.

47:27
I don’t want to be in business. It’s too hard, I’m not happy and I’m struggling, and I know I have friends who have quit. I know lots of people who have quit because it just wasn’t what they were wanting to do. But I also know that there is a way that you can create sustainability in your business, to literally structure business around the life you want and the people who you know you can serve in a very humane and ethical way. So for now, I’m going to be putting the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast on hiatus.

48:04
I’m going to take a break because after 446 episodes and literally we’re coming up on four years of consistent podcasting I am taking a break because it hasn’t been lighting me up, and what really has lit me up is the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast. It’s my private podcast. It’s $8 a month or $80 for the whole year. It’s very, very accessible and I made it that way. I could have charged a lot more for that, but I wanted to make it so easily accessible because, for the people who are really hungry and who are the action takers who really believe in their mission and their dreams and they want to do the thing with the financial piece, you just don’t have the money to be in a mastermind or to hire a coach or to buy online courses. This is the closest thing that you can get to, having access to all of that wealth of knowledge at a very reasonable price, and the Spiritual Business Sessions episodes light up my life. I could talk on that podcast endlessly and every episode I am so excited because I know I’m talking to people who really want to hear it. They want to be in the room, they want to put those skills and they want to do the thing right Instead of just talking about it or dreaming about it. They want to do the thing and those episodes that podcast is quickly growing into something that is really changing the industry, I believe, of online learning, changing the industry for spiritual entrepreneurs, because it gives us a different opportunity, a different angle, a different vantage point and also accessibility. And so, in the energy of accessibility, I am very, very called to doing more in-person events here in Massachusetts, where I live, potentially at other remote locations.

49:55
I have been leading retreats for eight years and it has always been one of the best things ever and no matter how long they are short they are, they are some of the best times of my professional career. I love being in person with people. I love helping people to relax, release, to meditate, to clear energy, to open up their psychic senses. I love teaching them strategies, how they can implement them right away and really take off in their business. I love combining everything, so much so that I want to do this more regularly, and so right now, today, where I’m recording this, I don’t know where this is going.

50:41
I’m putting this out there imperfectly. Most likely, by the time this airs, I will have some kind of waitlist page if you would like to work with me in person. It’s going to be at a very low price. I can promise you that it’s not going to be thousands of dollars. It will be a very low price, very accessible, basically, if you can get to me wherever I am. It’s basically I’m giving you the day you pay for your lunch or whatever it is, and a very small investment from you and you’ll be blown away.

51:13
And part of that, my feeling, is that, yes, it’s the stuff that I’ve been doing, that cultivated at and have had such huge success with my retreats. Participants have always just raved about them because it’s not just business, it’s not just healing, it’s a combination of both. But then I’m also going to be adding in a huge element of nature, because it means so much to me, because I know how healing it is. And perhaps it’s being in my backyard and connecting with the animals on my farm, perhaps it’s gardening together, perhaps it’s going for walks in nature or going swimming together on the beach. There’s going to be an element of nature that’s going to be added to it. But I will say, there is nothing that replaces being in person. There is nothing that replaces humanity. And, yes, I love online business because it has helped me to help tens of thousands of people, probably even more than that. If I’m being honest, only tens of thousands of people that I know of, but those tens of thousands of people have shared my work multiple times, so probably millions. At this point.

52:20
And, yes, to impact the millions of people that I know I’m here to impact, there’s got to be a little bit of both the in-person, where we can touch and hug and cry together, and I don’t mean like touch, I mean like hug each other, and like connect and hold hands. And you know I can sit with you, you can sit with me. I am not interested in being an internet celebrity. I’m not interested in being really any celebrity. I’m interested in being a human and positively raised the level of consciousness amongst humanity. And if you are interested in being human with me and really connecting, I will leave some kind of a link. I’m sure that says you know. Hey, if you want to be in person with me, here’s a link. It’s going to be this time of day or this day of the week or this time of the year, probably quarterly, I would guess, if not more, but if you’re interested you can sign up, not going to have you pay anything until we have the date set, but something that’s really easy and something that’s really light.

53:22
You know, one of the things I hear all the time from folks in my community from online, from DMs, from emails is that, folks who are in my community, you’re highly sensitive, you’re spiritual entrepreneurs, you want to help people. You genuinely want to help people. You genuinely want to make a difference in the world. But sometimes you know you’re in a different world. But sometimes you are kind of going about it backwards or in sort of the wrong order. Sometimes we think, oh, we have to only focus on social media and post social media content, and that doesn’t usually work for a number of reasons.

54:06
And what I want to share with you is that, as spiritual entrepreneurs, we have to do things a little bit differently than other folks. We need to do it in our own way. It needs to feel like a heck yes in our body. We need to feel lit up, turned on and excited about what we’re doing. Otherwise it’s just not going to work. That’s why, when we follow other people’s strategies or systems or frameworks, it generally doesn’t work out for us.

54:39
So something I’ve kind of done recently is started opening the question well, what if there was another way? What if we could revolutionize your learning experience so that you could have access to me, my teachings, my strategies currently not just from things in the past as a pre-recorded program, but really in the moment. So that’s why I created the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast. It is truly the first private podcast for coaches, healers and leaders. It is literally a whole new category of its own, so that you can really learn how to help other people, how to make a difference and really, in a nutshell, it’s how to attract more clients and how to make more money right now. So each of my bi-weekly sessions will progressively build on the next, so you can learn at a pace that works for you from literally anywhere. So instead of spending hours on your computer watching pre-recorded courses. You can pop in your earbuds, your headphones and go for a walk out in nature, or go sit on your meditation pillow, or go lay down in bed whatever feels great for you.

55:56
The Spiritual Business Sessions podcast is an amazing opportunity to get unlimited access to dozens of expert trainings by me, directly to you and at the most affordable rate, so that while you’re learning the step-by-step process how to grow your spiritual business, you don’t have to spend a fortune, and you also don’t have to take tons of hours to be able to learn it and then implement it. So I’d love to offer this to all of my podcast listeners. I know you love podcasts because you’re here, so for a special time, I’d like to open up the doors for you to join the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast. It’s only $8 a month. 57:38
And so, as I recap you know, four years, 446 episodes. I can say for sure this has been such a journey for me. When I first released the Align and Unstoppable podcast, I had batched 12 episodes to record, like to release, all at the same time, so that I could get onto the new and noteworthy area of Apple iTunes, which I achieved, which was like I didn’t know, I was like, is this even possible? And I didn’t, which I was really excited about. And the day that my podcast aired, literally my voice went out. I got laryngitis. I wasn’t sick, I didn’t have a running nose, I didn’t have a scratchy throat, I literally just lost my voice.

58:20
And so I say that because, you know, as we grow and as we up level, we go through these different manifestations of our ascension and seeing our you know physical symptoms as working through the stuff that we’ve been, you know, going through and growing through and you know there’s going to be a lot of different opportunities where you can work with me, and I have been really making it my dedication, especially this year, to make all of my work really accessible. You know the $1 meditation, $7 meditation, discounted courses and programs inside of Mastering Ascension. We’ve basically lowered the price. You can do it monthly, you can do it annually. We’ve added in coaching, so you can literally do coaching with me for just $40 a month. So I’ve made myself more accessible than ever in various ways. And, of course, the spiritual business sessions podcast, which is only $8 a month. And, of course, you know me, I go live every single week and I’ll continue to do that as much as I can and as much as it lights me up.

59:24
So, as I conclude this episode, I would love to hear from you if anything occurred to you that you know made you think something differently about yourself or opened your eyes to what it is to be this online business machine or like. Are you starting to wake up? Are you starting to see like? No, actually I am here for a bigger purpose. I’ve been getting lost, I’ve been hypnotized, I’ve been under this cloud. It’s time for me to wake up. It’s time for me to see what I’m here to do and just do it already, like I want to hear what you heard, because sometimes that’s the biggest gift that you can give me as a podcast listener is just letting me know how it felt for you. How did it resonate with you, and with that I would just like to say thank you. Every single episode I’ve recorded, I have you, your energy, in the room with me as I record, and so I feel your energy on.

01:00:18
For the last four years, I have had so many dedicated listeners and some new listeners and people who randomly found me and then end up joining Mastering Ascension and my IEA program and becoming a coach and, like this, podcast has definitely been such a wonderful gateway to introduce me, my work, to so many people, and I’m happy for that. I’m proud of that. I’m really proud of what me and my team have achieved with creating so much consistent podcast episodes, and I want to just thank you for being there and being so dedicated. And this is not necessarily goodbye. I don’t feel like this is the end right now. I just feel like this is time for a break, because I need to follow what brings me joy and when I’m in my joy, I’m in my zone. And when I’m in my zone, I’m making a difference. And when I’m making a difference, maybe you’re making a difference. So cheers to doing more of what brings you joy, what brings you happiness, what brings you into the present moment, what allows you to feel human. With that, thank you.

Today You’re listening to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast. I’m your host, emilyerens. I’m an entrepreneur and highly sought after energy healer with over two decades in practice. I’m a mixture of high vibe energy and cutting edge strategy with a little dash of unfiltered real talk, making this the one and only podcast that gives you a down to earth approach to business and spirituality. Doing it each week to get out of the stress of overworking so you can build a brand in alignment with your soul’s purpose. It’s time you experience business and soul alignment.

02:51
Welcome back to episode 445 of the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast. I’m your host, emilyerens. I’m very happy to be here with you and talk about something that it seems that everybody keeps saying I need help with creating digital products. I love this. I’m very happy that my audience is wanting to learn about digital products. I’m happy to teach you how to create your first digital product.

03:17
In this week’s episode, I’m going to be talking about really creating and crafting your first offer. Now, it’s really nice to have a dream, to have passive income and money while you sleep, but it’s not as simple as that. In this episode, I’m actually going to give all of my podcast listeners a special promo code so that you can get my training how to intuitively create and sell your irresistible offer. It comes with a workbook and it comes with a meditation. Basically, it’s going to help you, step by step, to create an offer that people want. This can be something that you have. Maybe it’s a digital offer, like a program or a course or a meditation or hypnosis or whatever it is that you have that can be sold digitally. But that training is so, so helpful to just get you started. Let’s dive in Basically.

04:19
Folks who are going to be listening to this episode are one of three groups of people and you can decide which one are you. Are you number one? You are somebody who has a concept, an idea for a digital product. Nothing really in stone kind of things are swimming around your headspace. Number two you’re somebody who has the idea more flushed out. You’re like this is what it’s going to be. I just haven’t done it yet. Or you’re number three, which you have a digital product and you’re wanting to maybe fine tune or make it, maybe better in some way, improve it. You don’t have to do the messaging or the marketing or you need more people to come into it and get it. Whether you’re one, two or three, this episode is going to help you to improve where you’re at.

05:13
Let’s just take it from the beginning and assume that everybody is wanting to improve their offer or wanting to create something. The first place you’re going to need to start out with is maybe grab a piece of paper pen. I have actually been really enjoying using Canva whiteboards for this process Because it’s really simple and organized. I don’t have to erase anything or rip my paper out. I like to use the whiteboards because you can make these sort of digital sticky notes and you can create arrows and you can color code it. It’s actually something I just used recently in one of my coaching groups the Spiritual Business Accelerator, to help my clients to map out their offers, because it’s really a good idea to know, from beginning to end, what is your client’s journey going to look like.

06:08
Hey friend, I wanted to hop into this podcast episode to share with you my favorite coffee alternative that doesn’t give you anxiety or stress or make you have an afternoon crash. That is why I’m talking about mushroom coffee. And listen, I have been a coffee lover for most of my life. I like it, drink it black. I really do love the taste of coffee, so finding a good tasting coffee that performed well, that didn’t give me the jitters, was really important for me, and I’ve tried a whole bunch of them.

06:38
And the one that I’ve really become obsessed with over the last year plus is called Everyday Dose. It is a blend of mushrooms from the fruiting body, not just the mycelium, so it has lion’s mane and chaga. It also does have a coffee extract in it, so it does taste like coffee. Plus, it has collagen and l-theanine, so l-theanine is that I also take on a regular because it helps with lowering stress and as busy entrepreneurs, I know you got stress. So I would love for you to take a try of Everyday Dose. I know it will change your life the way it has changed mine, and now you can try it out as only a dollar a day. So they have these really cool starter kits that come with a little electric rechargeable frother, there’s a cool spoon and a resealable, refillable container. I love it. I think you’re going to love it too. You can head on over to my very special link. It’s called EmilyArenscom forward slash start dose. That’s EmilyArenscom forward slash start dose. So head on over to EmilyArenscom forward slash start dose today. You’ll thank me later. I’m getting ahead of myself, so let me back up a little bit.

08:15
When I first started to create a digital offering. I started with meditations and at the time, I didn’t have anything other than meditations to sell. I was creating coaching programs. I hadn’t created any courses, so I was really very, very new to all of this and so I wasn’t seen beyond my nose, basically and I’m sure that a lot of you who are the ones are in the same category. So I want to help you with crafting more of a strategy when it comes to creating your digital courses. So at the time, I knew I wanted to create some meditations that had energy healing in them, but I didn’t think beyond that. So this is an opportunity right now to start considering who your soulmate client is and maybe begin to visualize them.

09:06
I love leading meditations on this so that you can get into the energy of where your soulmate client is. So you simply just call in your highest soulmate client, connecting with them where they are at today. What are they struggling with? What is keeping them up at night? What is on their heart? What is troubling them that you can help them with, and start to kind of tease it out when you’re connecting with them energetically. Is it their health, their life, their relationships, work, finances? Figure out who your soulmate client is and really the nuances of who they are. It’s a lot easier to help the one person when you connect with the soulmate client versus thinking of all of the people at once, and what one person might want is different than what another person wants. Just think of one person and is there something that you can help them with to make their life easier or solve their problems? So when you kind of connect more energetically with your soulmate client and some people might not know who that is. So for this exercise you can just make some one up.

10:19
But a lot of you do have kind of a broader idea of who you want to help, and that’s how I was. I knew I wanted to help people who were entrepreneurs. So in my mind the problems were people needed to make more money, get more clients, improve their finances, reduce their stress and anxiety, overall well-being. So I had these list of problems that they were struggling with, and so I immediately thought I’ll make a meditation to solve those problems, which is exactly how I started. I started making meditations to solve those specific problems and I named them. Things like attract your soulmate clients with ease and expand and relax and let’s see soulbook healings for higher levels of income, right? So all of my digital products were for a specific problem, for a specific person, and they were very clearly outlined. So I would maybe pause this and do that step for yourself.

11:25
Because the problem is and this is the sad part is that most people who are listening to this you’re probably thinking, okay, I want to help people and I mean, I just helped somebody with this last week. They said I have a meditation to help with transitions and I said, okay, what transitions and who is transitioning? And so we can find ourselves kind of thinking of who this person is and not knowing them deeply, right? So is it a transition for a new job? Somebody’s becoming a parent for the first time? Somebody just died, right, the loss of a pet. There’s so many different things that if you’re not narrow and specific, it’s not going to resonate with anybody. So get yourself really clear with this and, like I said, once you understand who it’s for your soulmate client and how you can help them and solve their problems. And what is that big transformation when they use your digital product? Hmm, now that one can be tricky.

12:31
So for me, with meditation, the transformation was they would feel more calm, more at peace, more aligned, they would feel more connected with their soulmate client. It would help them to make more money. It would help them to sleep better, to relax their mind, to connect with the universal flow of abundance without effort, activate their more abundance in their life. So I’m giving you just like a long list of transformations Now in the program how to intuitively create and sell your irresistible offer that you get a discount on. This walks you through all of the steps and actually like a lot more. So this is just scratching the surface. So if you want to take it deeper, it does come with a workbook so you can get all of these questions prompted to you, as well as ways to actually position it and sell it.

13:35
So once you’ve kind of got that you want to understand, you say who it’s for, what it is and what’s the transformation. That in and of itself is probably more work than you’ve ever done, and if you know what the transformation is, then you can kind of see what would the next natural step be. So if you’re somebody who does group programs or one-on-one sessions, you could see how if you had somebody who is brand new and enjoyed a single meditation, that perhaps they might venture into wanting something else with you, a group or individual program. So it would make the most sense if, as you’re creating this, you have that in mind and you can understand the journey that your customer could potentially take with you. And not all of your customers will take this journey, but at least if you have it in mind, it kind of gives you and your soulmate client an idea of where this is going.

14:38
So like, is this just a meditation, one and done and that’s it? That’s all you’re giving me. Or is this opening us up for more opportunities in the future? And this is where those like Hanva white boards really come in handy, so that you can kind of map it out. So step one is my free offer or my low price meditation or whatever the thing is that you’re leading people into. Step two is they join my course, my group program. Step three is they start working with me individually. So maybe it’s as simple as that. Give yourself a few minutes to really map this out, because it’s going to make it easier when you go to create your digital product.

15:20
Also, I will say this not all digital products are created equal. Like I’ve been talking about a meditation, which is very different than selling a course. It’s very different than selling a certification. It’s very different than selling a group online program. So I’m giving this one example, but all of the other ones I just mentioned are also considered digital products. So the main thing with a digital product is that you need to have some kind of software that makes delivery easy for you. So I’m not saying you have to get super techy right up front immediately, but again, if you are thinking about creating a digital product, it means you’re probably going to need to send it to somebody. They need to get access to it. You need to possibly receive payment or at least an exchange of their email address for it. I also believe links beneath this podcast in the show notes for the software that I use and recommend. Not everybody is going to be at the level that you’re ready to invest in some of these programs or software systems. But I will say this if you are listening to this episode and you are considering making your first digital product, you’re probably going to need to invest in something, and I would recommend a few different types of software.

16:51
I’ve used different things in the past and have since stopped using them because they were too cumbersome and too challenging or too expensive. So some of the systems that I use might not be right for you, but I will still recommend some of them. One of them is lead pages. It’s definitely a great one to have to collect email addresses. I would definitely recommend using ConvertKit for emailing your customers and being able to tag them and give them offers and send digital products. And then, for maybe a bit more advanced, I also use Kajabi. So there’s sort of three different systems. You don’t need them all, but certainly they all work very well and I use all of them, so I’ll leave those in the podcast show notes below.

17:39
I highly recommend Kajabi and if you want to check it out right now, you can head on over to EmilyArenscom. Forward slash Kajabi and you can take a test drive, see if it’s something that works for you. But I know you’re here because you’re ready to take yourself and your business seriously and really Kajabi is the easiest place to go to start building your online business. Again, emilyarenscom, forward, slash Kajabi and get started today.

19:01
So let’s get into the fun parts, okay, of creating digital products. So you know who it’s for, you know what it is, you know what the transformation is. Now you need to actually create the thing. Part of creating it which maybe doesn’t sound as fun as I think it is is researching. So you know, you may have already created it and I’ll just stick with the theme of meditation.

19:27
I remember when I created my first meditation Attracting Soul my Clients with Ease. When I created it, I shared it with a group of peers who were in a mastermind group with me and it was the first mastermind I’d ever invested in. I didn’t know what I was doing. I don’t actually think the person running the debt either, but it was about 10 people in it and I was able to ask them for their you know, five, 10 minutes of support. Can you listen to this meditation, let me know what you think and just be honest, like can I improve it? Did it work, did it not? What kind of things happened when you listened to it?

20:02
So the first step is really to start getting feedback on it, because the way that we get more people to sign up for things and to buy things is to let them know how effective it is. And the only way to let people know how effective it is is for people to start utilizing it and for you to start getting testimonials back in return. So I shared it with some friends in my mastermind and quickly I said how was it? I don’t know if it was very good, my voice is probably really terrible. I don’t know if anybody likes it and immediately they started saying oh my God, emily, how did you think your voice is terrible? It’s so relaxing to hear your voice.

20:41
And I started listening to this meditation every day because the first time I listened, some random person found me and started working with me and the next day the same thing happened. And each time I listen, I get more people who find me out of thin air and I’m literally seeing what’s happening in the meditation happening in my reality. I am actually attracting my soulmate clients and I was like what? No way. I was so delighted. I mean that was my intention, but nobody had listened to it. So when you actually start to get that feedback, you got to share it. So I started to share it and I started to post it. I eventually made I think probably some sort of website or opt-in page at the time where people could exchange their name and email or their I think I sold it actually where they could see testimonials from real people listening.

21:34
So this is a really important part that you do need to get that. You do need to get that feedback and, as you can hear in my voice, it definitely boosted my confidence. So when you have a concept I’m going to go back to the meditation for transitions or healing for transitions it’s so vague and non-specific no one wants that. You need to be very clear and specific for people to want it and so, once you do put it out there, get some feedback. So you know you can share it with friends and get their feedback. You can share it with clients and get their feedback. You can share it with a small group of people and say, listen, I’m going to be selling this meditation or hypnosis or PDF or checklist or whatever it is that you’re going to be offering. I’m going to be selling it, but for right now, I’m only offering to a handful of people just to get some feedback. If you’re somebody who would be happy to share some honest feedback with me that would be posted publicly, I’d be happy to share this with you now, and it’s a good habit to get into asking for that feedback.

22:36
So those are the first kind of general steps that you’re going to want to take when you’re creating your first digital product Understand who it’s for, why they need it, why now, what is that transformation? And once you start to put some of the pieces in motion, I want you to start getting some feedback. Now. I know there are probably 200 more steps into creating your digital product. That’s why I’ve simplified it. I made it a little bit easier to give you a whole bunch more steps.

23:07
That is linked below how to intuitively create and sell your irresistible offer. You can get it with a discount coupon code for all podcast listeners. It’s going to go over really in-depth questions about how to craft your offer. Then it gets into. So part of selling is research. Right, you’re putting things out there, you’re getting feedback, you’re setting goals, you’re setting scarcity and you’re really putting together ideas for how you are going to market it. And so this training really takes you through all of that, because part of it, it’s like you’re literally becoming a new version of yourself because you’re selling this thing for the first time. You’re creating a call to action. You’re being unapologetic with saying this is amazing, it’s so good. These are my testimonials, this is my feedback, it works. And you’re creating this new commitment level for yourself and your business Because you’re saying, listen, I’m gonna take myself seriously, I’m gonna invest in these online platforms so that I can host it and sell it really easily. I’m literally becoming a business. This is not just for the side hustle folks who are like I’d rather have my nine to five job and think about having a digital product and I’d rather just do Reiki on my dog. This is not for you. Probably. It’s for people who are ready to step in to being serious and taking themselves seriously and seeing themselves as a professional and not an amateur entrepreneur. So, part of this selling and for this training that I’m offering the discount on, it’s gonna teach you a lot about conversion rates. It’s gonna teach you about the mindset behind selling. It’s gonna teach you about how to track things, how to do a full debrief, and I also do link up some different book recommendations for how you can clarify your offer. There’s a whole launch map where you can map out the days and what you’re doing. There’s a whole journaling section. It’s an awesome opportunity if you’re ready to flesh out your offer even more.

25:20
When I was starting my online business, I realized pretty quickly I needed to build a funnel, and that was an easy way for people to opt in, to give me their name and their email address to join my email list, and I could send them a meditation, a PDF, a workshop, a video or something really special that allowed them to start building that no-like-and-trust energy with me. And the best way that I found to do this was through using lead pages. Lead pages has proven templates that are guaranteed to help you with the design. You don’t have to have a blank screen and become a web designer. Suddenly they have templates that you can plug and play your message with your images, with your wording, but they are really easy to use and I find that their chat support is really responsive as well. So if you are looking for an easy way to start collecting leads, build your email list, starting to build that no-like-and-trust factor as well, I highly recommend you check out lead pages. You can head over to emilyaronscom forward slash lead pages to get started today. They have a really low price, easy to start option and I know you’re gonna love it as much as I do. Now. I love lead pages for another reason. It’s because of their tracking. You can see when your lead pages are working by the conversion rates. They track the number so you can see immediately if it’s working or if it’s not and how to tweak it. And they also have diagrams inside to say this has to change or this has to change. So it’s really easy to start using lead pages right away. So again, emilyaronscom, forward, slash lead pages and get started today.

27:11
Now I know you’re listening to the Align and Unstoppable podcast. This is my free podcast and of course you probably already heard we do have a brand new private podcast that is essentially deeper level trainings, kind of similar to this. It is completely ad-free and it’s basically every other week me teaching and coaching something that is current, something that is working in spiritual entrepreneurship to help you grow from the foundation all the way up to making a wonderful, profitable and sustainable business, and I would love for you to check it out. We’ll have the link below. You can also just head over to emilyaronscom forward slash sessions. It’s right there on my website on the podcast page. You can take a look.

27:57
It is so affordable to get coaching and teaching with me. It’s only $8 a month and those of you who decide to subscribe for the full year, you can put your name in to get a full business audit with me and Amanda. Well, I shouldn’t say full, it’s a half an hour business audit with me and Amanda, which is really, really powerful. The folks who’ve been doing them are getting so much out of it and it’s helping them to not just hone in their target market but to really see themselves as a professional and see where there are gaps.

28:29
Like a lot of times, as spiritual entrepreneurs, we see ourselves like we think we’re doing all the things and it feels so busy and chaotic and you kind of don’t know where to focus and where to go next. And the business audits have been very instrumental with helping people to find that focus, as has been the spiritual business sessions, where, instead of feeling like you should be doing 20 things at once, the spiritual business sessions are helping you to say, ok, just focus on this one piece. Ok, in two weeks, now focus on this next piece. And it’s a really nice way to keep you accountable, to moving the needle forward and really genuinely helping you grow your business. You know, one of the things I hear all the time from folks in my community from online, from DMs, from emails is that, folks who are in my community, you’re highly sensitive, you’re spiritual entrepreneurs, you want to help people. You genuinely want to help people. You genuinely want to make a difference in the world, but sometimes you are kind of going about it backwards or in sort of the wrong order.

29:39
Sometimes we think, oh, we have to only focus on social media and post-social media content, and that doesn’t usually work for a number of reasons, and what I want to share with you is that, as spiritual entrepreneurs, we have to do things a little bit differently than other folks.

30:21
So instead of spending hours on your computer watching pre-recorded courses, you can pop in your earbuds, your headphones, and go for a walk out of nature, or go sit on your meditation pillow or go lay down in bed whatever feels great for you.

31:38
The Spiritual Business Sessions podcast is an amazing opportunity to get unlimited access to dozens of expert trainings by me, directly to you and at the most affordable rate, so that while you’re learning the step-by-step process how to grow your spiritual business, you don’t have to spend a fortune and you also don’t have to take tons of hours to be able to learn it and then implement it. So I’d love to offer this to all of my podcast listeners. I know you love podcasts because you’re here, so for a special time, I’d like to open up the doors for you to join the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast. It’s only $8 a month. You can cancel anytime or, for folks who decide to join annually, I’m going to be selecting three lucky annual members to receive a 30-minute live business audit with me and my COO, amanda, this year. So it’s kind of like taking a bubble of positivity with you, and it’s super supportive, not just for your energy, but also for your health, for abundance as well as relationships. So, as a podcast listener, I want to get you to try FLFE completely free. Now. This is an amazing opportunity to get a 15 day free trial. You don’t have to enter a credit card. That’s right. It’s time you experience business and soul alignment. Hi there, welcome back to the Aligned and Unstoppable podcast.

02:54
This is episode number four, four, four. On today’s episode, I’m going to teach you three ways to start transitioning from free sessions into paid sessions. Some of you may already say, listen, I don’t need the free session stuff, I’m already doing paid sessions, but maybe I’m not getting as many clients as I’d like. You can definitely still apply these principles to your current status. This strategy works. That’s all I can say. Also, we do have a brand new free training that is out. If you are definitely wanting to have a spiritual business, you’re wanting to become a practitioner that has more abundance and more clients coming in. The training is going to be below in the show notes. It’s all about shifting into your abundance archetype. I know that for folks who’ve been training with me for a long time, especially through the integrated energy alignment practitioner training, they’re learning not just the modality and getting certified in the modality of energy healing, but they’re also learning strategies and marketing business principles and every single week they’re building their businesses. All of our graduates are making money, not just after the program, but they’re making money starting at month three, because we literally require you not just to do practice sessions, but then to have practice sessions that you start to earn money incrementally. What I’m teaching you today is part of the foundation of the IEA certification. You can take the free training to learn about your abundance archetype. If you want to learn more about the IEA training itself, we’ll have links below this video and in the show notes of the podcast.

04:46
If you’re new to the podcast, warm welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I’m Emily Aarons and I’m here to help you to grow your spiritual business and create more wealth, more stability, without having to burn yourself out, because that’s really the point. We’re not looking to build a successful financially career but burning you out. We’re looking to create sustainability. I know all of the practitioners who have been here coaches, healers, aspiring leaders who follow me, who work with me. They realize I’m not here to kill myself. I don’t want my team to kill themselves just for the sake of making money. That’s not the point. We are here to help people. What would be the point of helping people if you’re burning yourself out in the process? That’s not what I’m here for. I’m here to help you build a spiritual business that is sustainable as well as successful.

05:34
Let’s get into this week’s episode. As you know, we just launched the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast, which is not like this one. This podcast is really more like an overarching view. The Spiritual Business Sessions is basically an audio course where I’m literally taking you through the framework of building a business week after week. If you haven’t checked it out already, if you’re not already a subscriber, definitely check that out. It’s basically you’re getting an expert in your pocket to be your coach for only $8 a month. It’s such a great deal. It’s so high value. People who have already been listening there are already a couple episodes in and they’re absolutely loving it. They’re building things already and it’s really exciting to see. We’ll have all that linked in the show notes below, or you can go to emilyaronscom forward slash session.

06:25
Hey friend, I wanted to hop into this podcast episode to share with you my favorite coffee alternative that doesn’t give you anxiety or stress or make you have an afternoon crash. That is why I’m talking about mushroom coffee. And listen, I have been a coffee lover for most of my life. I like it, drink it black. I really do love the taste of coffee, so finding a good tasting coffee that performed well, that didn’t give me.

06:52
The jitters was really important for me, and I’ve tried a whole bunch of them, and the one that I’ve really become obsessed with over the last year plus is called Everyday Dose. It is a blend of mushrooms from the fruiting body, not just the mycelium, so it has lion’s mane and chaga. It also does have a coffee extract in it, so it does taste like coffee. Plus, it has collagen and L-theanine. So L-theanine is something I also take on a regular because it helps with lowering stress, and as busy entrepreneurs I know you got stress. So I would love for you to take a try of Everyday Dose. I know it will change your life the way it has changed mine, and now you can try it out as only a dollar a day. So they have these really cool starter kits that come with a little electric rechargeable frother. There’s a cool spoon and a resealable, refillable container.

07:45
I love it. I think you’re going to love it too. You can head on over to my very special link. It’s called EmilyArenscom forward slash start dose. That’s EmilyArenscom forward slash start dose. I think you’re going to love it as much as I do. Now, listen, I know we all have different dietary sensitivities, so you know it’s gluten free, it’s paleo, it’s keto, it’s soy free, it’s dairy free, there’s no sugar and it is non-GMO. So I want you to understand that I would never recommend something unless I had personally tried it and loved it. And this is how I feel about Everyday Dose. So head on over to EmilyArenscom. Forward slash start dose today. You’ll thank me later.

08:29
Let’s talk about ways to transition from free to paid. So, like I said, you might already be charging. That’s fine. Even if you’re already charging, I want you to listen to the strategy behind this and see how you can modify it or apply it to your business. So the first step and this is exactly what we do with the IEA training is you start with free sessions.

08:51
Now, what I like to introduce to my clients, to the students and, of course, for you, is that if you are giving away free sessions, you are also putting a container, you’re putting a boundary around that, so you’re not just hey, I’m Emily and I’m here to offer free sessions. Who wants one? That is not what I’m saying. What the container looks like is hi, I’m Emily, for a limited time only, I’m going through a training, or I’ve just got this certification, or I’m doing this XYZ thing, and I’m offering a limited number of sessions that are absolutely free in just in exchange for a beautiful testimonial and your feedback. So you are saying upfront it’s not just I’m giving away free sessions to anybody with a pulse, I’m giving them in exchange.

09:42
So in my experience and in my observation, you have to have some kind of an energy exchange. So even if it’s free, there needs to be something coming back. If it’s free, it’s for a testimonial, maybe it’s for just an opportunity to be in front of a great audience. So there are times where I teach classes or workshops or trainings for free. No one’s paying me money, or I’m speaking, for example, but they’re not necessarily paying me money. They might be maybe buying my Oracle card deck or they might be just putting me in front of their audience, which would be a great position and opportunity for me. So there’s always some sort of give and take, some sort of exchange.

10:21
So the first thing is you are only advertising your free sessions, with the caveat that it is clear it is for their feedback and their testimony. So when you are making your booking link and I presume that you all have an online booking software if you are this far, but if you don’t, I can put my link for using acuity scheduling. That’s what I use. Obviously, there’s plenty of other options as well, but when you give your link, your link should also explicitly say that by booking the session, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions, that you will be giving your feedback and a written testimony, and when they book their session, they are seeing that in acuity. You can also send them a confirmation email, a 48 hour, 24 hour and a one hour reminder email, because what happens is that when people don’t pay, they’re like man, it’s worthless. I don’t even care if I put it on my calendar or whatever, and they forget about it. They don’t show up. So when the IA students are in their early free sessions, many of them get no shows. It happens, it happens. I’ve had it even for people who’ve paid me $1,000 for a session. It happens sometimes whether life got in the way or something happened randomly or they just forgot. Things can happen, but especially, it’s definitely more frequent when you’re doing free stuff. So you want to set up the acuity appointment, you want to have that information explicitly set in there and you also want to have those reminders set up.

11:55
The next step is really important and you cannot skip this. Most the time You’re not even getting feedback from people number one which is why you can’t even go to number two. Step number two is to start sharing the feedback that you’re getting from those customers. It can look like I’m so excited. I had this customer today and they came in because they had a lot of stress. It turns out through the session and through the work that we did together, there was some blockages in their third chakra. I noticed that there was some gunk that was holding onto them there. When we started to really go into it, they were freeing up this place of their inner child. They found this deepness of play and wonder and excitement and joy. By the time the session was over, they were a whole different person. The color and their face returned. They looked more vibrant, and this is what they had to say.

12:45
Working with Emily has made me feel more alive than I have felt in years. I definitely recommend working with her. Something like that. That was just off the top of my head. But you get the formula, which is you’re sharing your enthusiasm and excitement and love and passion for the work and you’re sharing your customers actual testimony Sometimes when you just share a testimonial quote, by itself it’s not innately engaging or exciting. I have done these funny videos where I will read somebody’s testimony in a funny accent with a wig on. That definitely gets more views if you’re doing a reel or something, but it’s not necessarily as impactful as when you’re speaking from the heart. What I would recommend you do is finding a formula where you can share the feedback, the testimonials, saying again like this happened for so and so. This is what Martha said Again I have these free sessions for unlimited time only. There’s only so many that I have available. When you’re talking about scarcity of time, it’s not available for very long. And you’re talking about scarcity of quantity like I don’t have that many to give that isn’t neatly going to excite people and bring them into action, because if you’re like I have free sessions, dot dot, dot, but we just imagine they’re always available and there’s unlimited amounts, if you explicitly say they’re only available for a specific amount of time, there’s only a specific amount.

14:20
If I’m saying I’m going to be doing business audits live on Facebook today, be one of the first three people to submit your thing and you will likely get picked, what’s that going to do? You’re going to go. Oh, my God, I’m going to do that. Everything in you, your adrenaline is going to start rushing. You’re going to go to that form. You’re going to fill out as fast as possible and then you’re going to be hoping and praying that you get to be one of the lucky people picked. Whenever you see me live doing cards, if you see me and I say I’m pulling cards today, you bet you’re getting there first and you’re going to say card please, emily, please pick me, please pick me, please pick me. Because that’s what everybody does. They line up and they go. Oh, I want this. You really want to take that same scarcity energy and bring it into your free offerings and your paid offerings. Again, even if you are doing sessions and they’re paid sessions, you still want to emphasize there is a limit of time or quantity.

15:19
When I transitioned out of the brick and mortar in my healing business and started to transition online, I found myself really confused and trying to figure out the solution to make all of these ideas of mine work together. I wanted to sell meditations, I wanted to have a membership, I wanted to be able to take payments that were reoccurring and to send emails and to create websites and it seemed like I had to invest in so many different systems and sometimes they wouldn’t even work together. Well, that all changed when I found Kajabi. That has been such a life send. I love Kajabi because it’s easy to use, it’s super user friendly, there’s great reporting and it makes it seamless for my customers to find me and to buy any of my products or services. Again, emilyarenscom forward slash Kajabi and get started today.

16:42
When I was still seeing one-on-one patient or clients, I used to have a goal I want to have five new clients every single week, not every week. I had that Some weeks I did and some weeks I said, oh well, I’m booked out, so you have to book for next week. And then boom, I had half of my week already filled for the following week. Setting yourself a goal now this is like a bonus tip. So make sure you write it down. When you have a goal in mind, it’s a lot easier to hit it. Your subconscious sees I have a goal of five, I got to get five, I got to get five, I got to get five. And your conscious mind is saying I got to get five. So you’re kind of in alignment.

17:19
When you’re just like I have sessions, will anybody come? That’s kind of like wasteful energy. You’re not specific, it’s not tangible If you’re saying I want more, more than what? More than one. So a lot of times I see clients and even folks here in my community who are like I say if I could wave a magic wand, what would you want in your business? They say I want more customers, so what’s more? So really get clear, especially when you’re going from free to paid or paid to increase in the price. How many, how many Exactly? How many do you have? If you say you have 10 sessions this month, that doesn’t sound like a whole lot. Right Inside of the IA training, we usually have between like six and 10 sessions that they’re required to do, depending on the month and what’s going on.

18:11
The first 10 sessions that our IA students are doing. They’re all free and they’re all only 10 minutes long, so you could potentially do like all 10 in a day. Most people don’t, and what happens is that most of our practitioners are going above and beyond just the minimum requirement, because if they go above the minimum requirement, they’re earning energy points that they can later use for other really cool things in the program. So it gives you an opportunity to use that same strategy in your own business. So if you set yourself a goal, well, what happens if I go above and beyond it? What happens if I hit it? Do I celebrate a milestone?

18:49
And for me, when I was increasing my prices, it was really when I started to bring my business online and I wanted to have five clients a week. And I would say, okay, here’s, these five sessions are at a discounted rate of, let’s say, $50. And once these sessions are taken this week, only next week the price will be increasing, and I stay true to that. That’s the difficult part you got to stay in integrity with what you say. So if I say, when the price is increasing next week, I’m going to increase the price next week, and what would happen is, next week would come and I go okay, great, I have five sessions available and they’re going to increase the price next week. They’re $65. First come, first serve. Next week the price is increasing. Next week happens Okay, great, it’s $100 for a session, whatever it was. And I did increase my price relatively quickly and I did get bookings quickly because my customers saw the results that were possible with me.

19:49
I was sharing the testimonies, I was sharing the stories, I was sharing what kind of things were coming up in sessions, what things were being cleared, so that they could relate and go oh, I want that. Because if you just say, hey, who wants a session? I have five of them, nobody wants them, right? You know this because you’ve been doing this. You, most practitioners, are using that same strategy over and over again. I have a session, who wants it? I have a session, who wants it? I have a session, who wants it? Listen, that strategy sucks, it doesn’t work. Stop doing it and I’m calling you out. But I’m staying it with love, because If you are doing something it’s not working, stop doing it.

20:28
Look around what are the larger companies doing? What are bigger influencers doing? What are successful businesses doing? How are they messaging? How are they marketing? You have to take off your practitioner glasses and put on your marketer glasses. What am I going to do to call in clients, both energetically and physically? What can I physically do to market myself? What can I energetically do to call them in? When we say I have a goal for five people and you’re connecting with those five people energetically and you’re calling them in energetically and you’re welcoming them energetically and you’re grateful for them energetically, that’s awesome, that next level of how you can put it out there in a way that resonates. I will also say this other thing because these three things require you to show up on social media. They require you to show up in your email. If you don’t have an email list yet, create one. I’m not talking about sending emails from your Gmail. Either get MailChimp, get ConvertKit, get I don’t know even Kajabi. Kajabi would probably be the higher tier. My recommendation would be get ConvertKit. I will also leave that link in the show notes.

21:43
I believe ConvertKit is one of the best marketing email providers because it’s got a lot of sophistication and it’s really low price. You only pay for the subscribers you have. If you start off and you go, I have zero, guess what. You pay a very low monthly rate and the more subscribers you have, the more money you pay. It does suck. When you start getting bigger numbers, you’re like, yay aw, I wish I was still paying $20 a month, or whatever their starting rate is. You can’t just cross your fingers and stay in the vision and the dreaming of one day when I’m going to have all these clients and all this money. It’s going to be so great. You have to do something about it Again, like I said, the Spiritual Business Sessions podcast is literally for people who are ready to take action. These episodes are more like. If you want to stay in the dreaming state, that’s fine too. Use these strategies. Don’t use them Whatever. It’s your choice.

22:39
When I was starting my online business, I realized pretty quickly I needed to build a funnel, and that was an easy way for people to opt in, to give me their name and their email address to join my email list. I could send them a meditation, a PDF, a workshop, a video or something really special that allowed them to start building that no-like-and-trust energy with me. The best way that I found to do this was through using lead pages. Lead pages has proven templates that are guaranteed to help you with the design. You don’t have to have a blank screen and become a web designer suddenly. They have templates that you can plug and play your message with your images, with your wording, but they are really easy to use. I find that their chat support is really responsive as well.

23:36
If you are looking for an easy way to start collecting leads, build your email list, starting to build that no-like-and-trust factor as well, I highly recommend you check out lead pages. You can head over to emilyaronscom forward slash lead pages to get started today. They have a really low price, easy to start option and I know you’re going to love it as much as I do Now. I love lead pages for another reason. It’s because of their tracking. You can see when your lead pages are working by the conversion rates. They track the number, so you can see immediately if it’s working or if it’s not and how to tweak it. They also have diagrams inside to say this has to change or this has to change. It’s really easy to start using lead pages right away. Again, emilyaronscom forward slash lead pages and get started today.

24:30
Step three this is the juicy part when the time is up, when the quantity that you have offered at the free rate or the low price or the discounted rate is up, guess what you time to increase your prices. This is when you start to say, hey, limited time only, you only have X amount of hours. You can insert a countdown timer into your emails or into your social media. You could say it’s time is up, and X amount of days or hours that’s totally up to you. Some people like a timer, some people don’t. I have definitely used timers a lot and I find them to be very effective. I’ve also had sales pages that don’t have a timer and all, and they’re still just as good. When that time is up, it’s time to increase your rate.

25:23
Let’s say you’re going, like I said, from free to paid. You’ve had your free session fun. You’ve got, let’s say, 10 sessions that you’re doing for free. I think that’s all you really need to get yourself acclimated with the exchange of time and energy and getting some feedback to come back. You could go to 20, but I get a little bit like I don’t know why you’re seeing 20 people for free, at least for 10. I’m assuming with this episode that you’re a practitioner that has some experience. You’re not like this is the first person I’ve ever seen ever. If that’s you, your brand new, your certification is like you just got it this weekend. You just got your Reiki one or Reiki two, or your breathwork online or whatever you just got.

26:09
If you’ve never worked on a person before, I would say, yes, go to 20 free sessions. You need the experience as much as you’re like, but, emily, I want to start making money. Listen, you’ll make a lot more money when you are confident, knowing that your stuff is good, knowing that you are skilled, knowing that you are able to deliver results, because that’s something that I see with the IA practitioners, every single round that we start. By the way, the next round starts in March. If you are curious about becoming a practitioner and actually making money because that’s what my practitioners do they all make money. When practitioners start, they all start, even if they’ve had a lot of experience. Even if you are an acupuncturist, even if you are a breathwork, a meditation teacher, a embodiment teacher, a tarot reader, a medium I’ve had all of those kinds of practitioners who’ve been at it for a decade, some of them more, but aren’t making the money when they come into my program, into IA.

27:06
You’re all starting from the same level playing field the people, who are brand new, who are like this is my first certification, this is my first time doing energy work. This is brand new to me. Everyone starts at the same level playing field, but the same thing happens. You’re at this place where you’re not confident yet. You’re a little insecure. You’re a little bit like I don’t know this is going to work. I don’t know if I’m good enough. I don’t know if they’ll like me. Every single student, no matter how experienced or not they are, so I would presume that you are the same way. That’s my observation. Those first 10 sessions, you’re getting the kinks out. You’re like all right, how do I start a session? How do I end a session? Cool, I got that. When you can get into about 20 sessions, then you have started to find your groove.

27:51
Within IEA. We require them to do feedback form Every session. They do. They’re getting feedback form. They don’t actually have to think about getting any of the stuff that I’ve just told you to go do. It’s already automated for them. They’re already starting to see this is the benefit of getting feedback.

28:09
My IEA practitioners and training are already seeing trends. They’re seeing what kind of customers they are attracting. Even with their free 10-minute sessions. They’re attracting a type. That type is coming in with this problem and through their session they’re getting this result. It’s so easy to see when you get 10 to 20 feedback forms and you can see patterns forming.

28:35
Then, when you see patterns forming, instead of just being a breathwork practitioner or a medium or a energy healer, you know that you can help a specific demographic, a specific soulmate client with a specific issue or desired outcome. That’s called a niche. When you can figure out who your soulmate client is and what you do for them, you’ve got a niche, and that is the number one. Well, there’s a lot of problems that I see practitioners have, but it’s one of the top. Because if you’re trying to help all of the broken birds out there, you’re like listen, I just want to heal the world, I just want to help lots of people. If I just say I want to help women, then I’m excluding all the men who have problems. If I’m just saying I only want to help men, then I’m excluding all the women. But here’s the thing there are billions of people on the planet and there are probably a billion, maybe, I don’t know.

29:30
The coaching and healing industry is like, I think, $8 billion industry. There’s a lot of folks who’ve gotten certification, so there’s a lot of us out there and I promise you someone will help that person. It just doesn’t have to be you. So I am an expert in helping spiritual entrepreneurs to grow profitable businesses. I am not here to help people with relationships to lose weight. None of that. Know your role. Stay in your lane. So when you start to get this feedback, you’re going to get so much more data than you’ve ever collected before, which also gives you content, all right. So for folks who are like I don’t know, you’re insecure about Facebook or posting on Instagram or you’re inconsistent, this feedback is going to give you content. It’s going to give you ideas and when you share that, it’s going to pull in more of the right people.

30:29
You know, one of the things I hear all the time from folks in my community from online, from DMs, from emails is that folks who are in my community, you’re highly sensitive. You’re spiritual entrepreneurs. You want to help people. You genuinely want to help people. You genuinely want to make a difference in the world, but sometimes you are kind of going about it backwards or in sort of the wrong order. Sometimes we think, oh, we have to only focus on social media and post-social media content, and that doesn’t usually work for a number of reasons.

31:10
And what I want to share with you is that, as spiritual entrepreneurs, we have to do things a little bit differently than other folks. We need to do it in our own way. It needs to feel like a heck yes, in our body. We need to feel lit up, turned on and excited about what we’re doing. Otherwise, it’s just not going to work. That’s why, when we follow other people’s strategies or systems or frameworks, it generally doesn’t work out for us.

31:43
So something I’ve kind of done recently is started opening the question well, what if there was another way? What if we could revolutionize your learning experience so that you could have access to me, my teachings, my strategies currently not just from things in the past, as a prerecorded program, but really in the moment. So each of my bi-weekly sessions will progressively build on the next so you can learn at a pace that works for you from literally anywhere. So, instead of spending hours on your computer watching prerecorded courses, you can pop in your earbuds, your headphones and go for a walk out in nature, or go sit on your meditation pillow or go lay down in bed whatever feels great for you.

So, now that you’ve got the three steps done, you’ve done your free sessions, with the boundary of this is in exchange for a testimonial. You started to get the results and now you’re sharing those transformations outwardly. And number three the time is up and you start to increase your rates. This is the magic right. So that sort of strategy of it’s only for a limited time, limited quantity. We’re going to increase, and now I’ve increased. Now that you’ve increased, you’ve also gained lots of testimonials and hopefully, more confidence, so that when you continue to repeat these cycles or these strategies, you’re building on top of it. You don’t do it for like two weeks and give up. That’s not what you’re here to do. So what I would say is dedicate the month just to like, give it a good shot. Set yourself up and I would say, set the goal for 10 free sessions. If you’re brand brand brand new, say 20 sessions okay, but then you have to increase it.

And I had a client, past student, carla when we went from free to paid, she freaked out. She’s like, oh my God, this is so hard, I can’t do this. All of a sudden, nobody’s returning my emails and nobody’s commenting on my posts and I’m totally, I’m totally doing so bad at this. And through the IEA coaching session that day, we got to talk about what the resistance was. Why did she feel like that was happening? Was it something that she was believing in herself, which it was? That her belief was I don’t think people will actually pay for this. And we got to kind of get to the bottom of that clear that belief. And within that day she offered her sessions at a pretty decent rate. I think it was, I want to say, like $200 a session. Okay, this is her practice session. She was still a student in IEA. She offered. One client bought, great, so she offered her sessions. One person bought. The one person who bought said this was outstanding. Can I buy a package of five? Okay, it was that easy. She made $1,000 that easily. That person who bought the five sessions and spent $1,000, then told her friend who did the same exact thing. So Carla went from I don’t think anyone’s gonna pay for this thing to I just made two grand within like 48 hours. That’s how easy it is.

It starts with your mindset, your belief system, your energy, and if you’re noticing that you’re not attracting people who are valuing it, you got to look at how you value it. It’s easy to point your finger and say nobody wants what I have, or you could take responsibility and start to see how you are putting yourself out there or not. Are you hiding still? Because that could be a big problem. If you’re trying to get clients but you haven’t posted and you haven’t made offers, not gonna get anybody to buy. And just like spoiler alert, people don’t just go to my website and buy everything that I have, like no one does that. You have to direct them, you have to incentivize them, you have to give them a reason to go there, a reason to buy, and you have to start seeing yourself as a real business. So I hope that you can take these three steps with you as a special gift I have included.
