In our 10th episode of the Aligned & Unstoppable podcast, Christina Jandali joins Emily to discuss proven strategies that help online business owners stand out, get seen and create consistent profits using a free Facebook Group. Christina is a confidence-boosting, cash-creating Success Coach for entrepreneurs “whose dreams stretch way beyond a corporate career”. Listen in as she gives advice on winning content strategies, the importance of consistent growth and creative ways to make offers to your clients.
Episode Highlights:
- Christina’s life changed when her daughter was born: She made a commitment then to pave the way for her by showing her what it’s like to pursue your dreams.
- She was growing her coaching business painfully slow by attending networking events when she discovered the power of the online space.
- Even as she began to build her list online, she still felt things were really cold and there was a missing connection with people.
- This is when she came up with the idea of starting her own community – her own Facebook Group, and her income grew substantially.
- Initially, her primary focus was on growth: She grew the group to 865 members in the first month!
- As the group began to grow she developed a content strategy that focused on 3 things:
- 1) Building Engagement
- 2) Generating Leads
- 3) Leading Into Sales
- Don’t forget to consistently make offers to your clients.
- Conversion rates from Facebook groups can be 2-5X more than from email lists.
3 Key Points:
- Your Facebook group runs parallel to your email list: The conversation happens in the group and the email list is the actionable piece.
- Engagement in your group is going to be dependent on the REACH of your posts, so you want to make sure there is consistent growth in your group.
- If you don’t have a content strategy in place then you’ll end up outlaying a lot of time without seeing comparable results

In our 6th episode of the Aligned & Unstoppable podcast, Emily talks with self-made millionaire and author Denise Duffield-Thomas. Denise shares why so many women and lightworkers are afraid of success. Emily & Denise discuss topics such as their favorite ways to bring outsourcing home, the most common money blocks and how to fix them and the benefits of “tapping”.
Episode Highlights:
- Emily just read Denise’s new book, Chillpreneur, and the basis is that many women have a fear of success and creating wealth
- One of the most exciting things for women has been the growth of technology which has allowed them to work from home and connect with other women
- Many women still have a primitive fear that something bad is going to happen
- Denise specifically helps those struggling with common money blocks:
- 1) Feeling that you have to work hard to make money or that because everyone can’t be wealthy then we shouldn’t be either
- 2) Feeling that you can’t make money by helping people
- If you’re a healer that doesn’t charge much money and you’re an over-deliverer then you will experience burnout
- You can always help someone from where you’re at right now
- Denise finds that delegating at home is way more useful to her than delegating at work
- Denise has outsourced some of her “mommy” duties to a team of cleaners, a nanny and a housekeeper and still spends plenty of time with her children
- She likes that her kids see her and her husband playing the role of different gender norms
- Putting a value on housework and providing an environment where your people are well-paid and have a flexible environment is important
- Women business owners should never feel guilty for providing a job for another woman
- Make sure you’re sharing your dreams with people that have the capacity to appreciate them
- Because of the advancements in technology & culture, women no longer need permission from men to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams
- When dealing with the “tall poppy syndrome”, there’s something freeing about being unapologetically you
- When starting her early businesses, Denise was just trying to make money and not focused on a business that was aligned with who she was
- Every time Denise moves into a new area of her business she faces feelings of starting from scratch with her money blocks
- Tapping is a fast way to shift your energy, clear off negative baggage and pull in higher vibrations/frequencies of unconditional love
3 Key Points:
- Charge appropriately for what you do, so you can buy back some energy and create more tools and resources to help people
- As your success continues, you will have to face new levels of the same issues even though you’ve already experienced healing in them
- When you love yourself you allow yourself to receive good things: money, compliments, support, etc.
