Customer Care Specialist
This is a flexible remote position for 5-10 hours per week with the possibility for future growth.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic Customer Care Specialist to support our growing online business. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries with warmth and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include responding to customer questions, researching account history, processing cancellations, managing failed payments and refunds, and assisting with app-related inquiries.
The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and solutions-driven—ensuring each customer interaction is handled with care and aligned with our brand values. Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or support (preferably in an online business or membership-based platform).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Comfortable navigating multiple payment processing systems including Kajabi, Stripe, and Paypal.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent service

Primary Role Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via GrooveHQ inbox in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and manage customer accounts, including purchase history, subscriptions, and payment issues.
- Process cancellations, refunds, and failed payments with care and efficiency.
- Assist with app-related questions and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and common issues to improve processes.
- Bonus if you’re local to Massachusetts.
This position starts at a rate of $19 p/hr as a part-time role requiring 10 hours per week with the opportunity to grow to full-time. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm EST. This is a remote, work-from-home position with occasional travel. You may also be required to work an occasional evening or weekend, particularly during launch periods.

THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

- You’re not willing to be “all hands on deck” when a project needs to get out the door. Sometimes we have to work weekends or evenings to meet a due date and you need to be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
